We advise to do any insecticide spray applications with the Equil Lambda 9.7 CS within the early morning or late evening during the cooling hours of the day so that the product can dry and settle into the area without affecting the chemicals in the product for the best result. You should avoid spraying in an area where the direct or overspray would contaminate the pool.
Equil is labeled for controlling bedbugs and will leave a residual that can last up to 10 days for bedbug control. We do not recommend that you use any product by itself for bedbug control as bedbugs can build resistance to products. Instead you should be using a dust insecticide and an aerosol with the Equil in a bedbug treatment plan. Please take a look at our bedbug kits as they contain the products we recommend for bedbug control.

Equil Lambda 9.7 CS is not a true repellent meant to keep bugs away, bugs cannot see but can detect it and it cannot be used in a thermal fogger. It is designed to provide a long residual to continue to kill insects that contact a treated surface.
As long as you can thoroughly agitate the Equil Lambda 9.7 CS mixture, there should be no issue using 8 hours after mixing. Our rule of thumb is to use solution within 24 hours of mixing.
After applying Equil Lambda, we recommend that you properly ventilate and give it some time. Once the treated areas are dry and ventilated, any smells will eventually dissipate.
