Got Eraser on my skin and the skin is black and partially missing

The product is only slightly toxic and only slightly irritating as shown by toxicity studies if skin contact is made.

We would recommend contacting your doctor with the MSDS we have linked or SafetyCall International 1-(866) 897-8050 as listed on the MSDS for further information.

  • Asked by Darrel from Summit, Ms
    06/16/2016
    Q
How long does take to kill grass with a 10 percent mixture of Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide?
    A

We recommend allowing 10-14 days to see signs of treated plants dying from an application of Eraser 41% Weed Killer or other glyphosate products. Exaclty how long it takes for treated plants to die will depend on many factors, including the age of the target plants and if there is any stress from high heat or drought. Young, actively growing plants will be most susceptible to herbicides and will, therefore, die more quickly.

  • Asked by Michael from Phoenixville Pa
    06/25/2013
    Q
How much Eraser do you need to do a 1 acre field? I have a heavily rooted lot.
    A
How much exact product you use is going to vary by how heavily you have to spray the areas that you are trying to eliminate vegetation from. According to the Eraser label: Use 1 1/3 oz per gallon of water to control most annual weeds; use 2 2/3 oz to control tougher or hard to kill perennial weeds. You will want to refer to the product label for complete use instructions. If you are using 2 2/3 ounce per gallon of water, and each gallon covers roughly 500-1000 sq/ft, you will need at least 110 ounces of product for an acre of land so you would need to purchase at least 1 gallon of Eraser. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

  • Asked by Roy from Jemison, Al
    09/20/2016
    Q
Will Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide kill fish when sprayed around the bank of a pond, and in the pond?
    A

When using Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide you would want to avoid getting run off in any water bodies or drainages systems. You would also not want to spray it directly in a pond, or it would most likely kill the aquatic life. If you need a product that would not harm fish or other aquatic life we would recommend a product such as Diquat Water Weed and Landscape Herbicide

    Q
What is the amount needed per acre of Eraser herbicide?
    A
Eraser Systemic Weed Control is a non-selective post-emergent and will eradicate anything sprayed directly including the turfgrass. We recommend checking the product label for usage rates for what you are treating as they vary. If you do not intend to kill the lawn, please click the link for selective post-emergent herbicides that will not harm the grass but will eradicate the intended weeds.

  • Asked by Mike from Leander, Tx
    06/12/2017
    Q
Will Eraser work to kill Mesquite Trees?
    A

Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide will kill any plant or tree that you spray it on.  It is non-selective, meaning it will affect anything it touches.  If you have a large tree though, then you would have to use a large amount of it directly on the stump or get it in the trunk of the tree by drilling into it for it to die.  Larger trees are not normally affected by overspray or by applying Eraser to other plants or grass nearby.

  • Asked by Woody from Corinth, Ms
    02/26/2013
    Q
Can I use Eraser and my grass to kill the weeds in late winter and early spring while the grass is dormant?
    A
If the grass is completely 100% for sure dormant you should be able to treat any actively growing weeds with Eraser with a broadcast spray. Weeds that are cold or water stressed can be very hard to kill with any product because they are not absorbing the water used to carry the product. If you are not positive that your grass is still 100% dormant we advise that you spot treat the weeds only with Eraser.
