Eraser is pet safe if used as directed. Dogs should be kept out of the area while the product is being applied and until everything is fully dry. Once dry, it is safe for pets to resume normal activity in the area.
We recommend allowing 10-14 days to see signs of treated plants dying from an application of Eraser 41% Weed Killer or other glyphosate products. Exaclty how long it takes for treated plants to die will depend on many factors, including the age of the target plants and if there is any stress from high heat or drought. Young, actively growing plants will be most susceptible to herbicides and will, therefore, die more quickly.
When using Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide, apply to actively growing weeds, preferably before the seed heads form. It's best to apply on a warm sunny day when daytime temperatures are above 60° F. Weed control is accelerated by warm sunny weather.
When using Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide you would want to avoid getting run off in any water bodies or drainages systems. You would also not want to spray it directly in a pond, or it would most likely kill the aquatic life. If you need a product that would not harm fish or other aquatic life we would recommend a product such as Diquat Water Weed and Landscape Herbicide.
We recommend that you use Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide when you aren't expecting rain for at least 6 hours after application. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance
Yes, Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide can be used around livestock. Upon applying the product allow it to dry before reintroducing the animals to the area, and allow at least 7 days in between applying and allowing the animals to graze in the same area.
Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide is pet safe if used as directed. Pets must be kept out of the area during application but can return as soon as the product is dry.
Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide will kill any plant or tree that you spray it on. It is non-selective, meaning it will affect anything it touches. If you have a large tree though, then you would have to use a large amount of it directly on the stump or get it in the trunk of the tree by drilling into it for it to die. Larger trees are not normally affected by overspray or by applying Eraser to other plants or grass nearby.
After an application of Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide you need to let the product have ample time to dry before letting pets back out into the areas that were treated. We recommend 4-6 hours to be on the safe side.
According to the Eraser 41% Weed Killer label, rain or watering 2 hours or more after application will not wash away effectiveness.
Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide should be applied when your pets are not in the area until the surfaces have completely dried.
