  • Asked by Melc from Shreveport, La

    Q
What is the best percentage Eraser A/P to mix to kill weeds and grass?
What is the pest percentage to mix in order to kill everything that tends to grow in my gravel driveway? Weeds and grass. I want to make a sterile environment where nothing will grow again. I live in the country, so if this is not the best product for that, what product would you recommend?
    A
Eraser A/P is a fantastic product, but not a soil sterilant. You would want to use a product like TVC Total Vegetation Control is a systemic herbicide that works by translocating through stems and leaves and destroying the plant root.

  • Asked by Bob from Queen Creek, Az

    Q
What is the cause of a white scum when using Eraser A/P?
I have used Eraser A/P in my 2 gallon Round Up brand sprayer for the past year. When I go out to spray about every two weeks, there is a white scum floating on the top of the water/Eraser mixture left over from the previous usage. This happens throughout the year. This scum continues to clog my spray nozzle as it sinks to the bottom of the sprayer. Please explain what this white scum is and how to avoid getting it. Thanks, Bob
    A
The seperation you are desribing the result of leaving Eraser AP diluted solution in the sprayer. We always recommend to use any diluted solution within 24 hours of mixing. Also, be sure to store your concentrated product in a cool dry area.

  • Asked by John from Wewoka, Ok
    11/30/2014
    Q
Will Eraser A/P kill vines and ground covers?
Will this product kill vines and/or ground cover? Round Up won't even touch this stuff.
    A
Can you possibly tell us the exact type of ground cover you have and vines you have so that we can make an accurate recommendation? Certain vines/ground covers are very specific on what chemicals will and wont work on them so knowing exactly what you are tying to eliminate goes a really long way in finding something that will kill them back. There are a lot of specific vine/brush products that are designed for the tougher to kill plants like you may have. We look forward to hearing back from you!

  • Asked by Mike from Alvin, Tx
    03/10/2018
    Q
At what outdoor temperature can you start using Eraser A/P after winter?
    A

Eraser A/P should be applied when weeds are actively growing. When making applications in low relative humidity, set up equipment to produce larger droplets to compensate for evaporation. Droplet evaporation is most severe when conditions are both hot and dry.

  • Asked by Jane from Sacramento, Ca
    06/02/2017
    Q
Will Eraser A/P kill crepe myrtle suckers?
I had to have a crepe myrtle cut down that was too close to my house. The stump was ground down afterward. For the last three years I have been battling with suckers sprouting up all around my lawn.
    A

Eraser A/P is a non-selective herbicide so it will kill whatever vegetation it is applied to.

We would recommend using a plant growth regulator such as Sucker Punch Ready To Use.  This product is specifically designed for use on ornamental trees and other woody plants to control suckers.

  • Asked by Kevin from Columbus, Tx
    08/04/2016
    Q
Is Eraser A/P effective against deep-rooted sedge?
I need something to kill deep-rooted sedge but would like to avoid killing the native grasses (bermuda, etc).
    A

We would not recommend for you to use Eraser A/P because the active ingredient is Glyphosate which is non-selective and it will kill everything you spray with it. We would recommend SedgeHammer Herbicide because it is safe for your Bermudagrass and it targets Nutsedge specfically or Dismiss Turf Herbicide, it is also labeled safe for Bermudagrass and targets Nutsedge and other labeled weeds as well.
