This is the second gallon I have purchased. It's the best price anywhere for a weed killer, and the stuff actually works very well. I apply it early in the morning on a sunny day, when I know it wont rain for a day or two, and within three days, the weeds are all wrinkled up. Very good value.

The difference between the Eraser A/P and Eraser 41% is that the Eraser A/P has an Agricultural label.
Eraser A/P is not specifically labeled for bamboo however it uses the active ingredient glyphosate that is a non selective herbicide commonly used to kill unwanted trees, shrubs, vines, etc.
Bamboo is extremely stubborn, so it can take several steps to remove it completely. Bamboo needs to but cut down to the stump just above the ground and then apply the non selective herbicide directly to the freshly cut stump.
You could also use a brush and stump killer applied undiluted directly on the fresh stump. It can take several applications to achieve the desired results.
Eraser AP is a non-selective herbicide, so it will affect any plants on which you spray it, including grass. SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate is labeled to treat creeping charlie and other listed weeds. It is safe for your lawn.
Please read the label for full application instructions.
Looking to see if Eraser A/P is safe to use in water areas. Such as around lakes and around banks of retention / detention ponds.
According to the manufacturer's product label for Eraser A/P Herbicide: "Apply this product only when the potential for drift to adjacent sensitive areas (e.g. residential areas, bodies of water, known habitat for threatened or endangered species, non-target crops) is minimal (e.g. when wind is blowing away from the sensitive areas). Avoid direct application to any body of water."
View our full list of Aquatic Herbicides for products that can be used around or near bodies of water.
Eraser A/P Herbicide is non-selective broad-spectrum herbicide that can be applied at a rate of 1.33 - 2.66 oz. per gallon of water for spot treating annual and perennial weeds such as sand burr.
Eraser A/P Herbicide is not labeled for pond moss nor labeled to be used in lakes, ponds, or bodies of water.
We would recommend using Crystal Plex Algae Control or Crystal Blue Copper Sulfate to treat for Filamentous algae aka pond moss.
Eraser A/P Herbicide is labeled to kill Dallisgrass in early stages of growth at the 2% Spray Solution of 3-5 quarts per acre in 3-20 gallons of water. For smaller spot treatments, apply at the rate of 2.7 fl oz per gallon of water. Established dallisgrass may not be controlled effectively and may require repeat applications. Eraser A/P is a non selective herbcide that will kill not only weeds, but also turfgrass and desirable ornamentals, shrubs, trees if overspray or winddrift contacts the plants. Bare spots can be reseeded or resodded after 2 weeks.
Refer to the Spray Solution Chart on page 7 of product label
This product should not be used in or around ponds, lakes, streams or other areas of water. Reward Landscape and Aquatic Herbicide may be better suited for your needs.

My front lawn is completely taken over by puncturevine. It wasn't too bad until we tilled and planted grass seed a year ago, but as soon as we watered the grass seed it took completely over the lawn and killed everything except its other weed buddies. Would this do the trick to get rid of this pesky weed?
Yes, Eraser A/P is labeled to treat puncturevine but will also kill any grass sprayed. Please see the label for complete application instructions.

Yes, Eraser A/P would have the ability to control poison ivy if sprayed thoroughly and at rates around 4 oz or so per gallon of water. Since poison ivy is a woody based plant, sometimes applications with products geared towards those species will work better than a traditional glyphosate option like Eraser. An alternative choice would be Crossbow Herbicide which can be used by itself or with the Eraser in areas where you want complete control of anything you spray it on.

The book tells me to use up to 5 quarts Eraser A/P 41% per acre mixed in the tank sprayer with 3-20 gallon of water to control Bahia. That's a huge range. How do I figure if I should apply with just 3 gallons of water per acre or as much as 20?
The water volume used or needed when applying Eraser A/P or other herbicides, depends on the density of the weeds that are being sprayed, and the type of equipment that is being used. Most customers do not have the type of equipment that can provide adequate low volume coverage like is indicated in the 3 gallon per acre rate. On average, most will use between 20-40 gallons of water per acre, sometimes more, to make sure you get sufficient coverage over the target weeds when broadcasting the acreage. The standard application volume for post emergent treatments is a gallon of water to every 1000 sq/ft you intend to spray over.
Wild onions (Allium canadense)
While a non selective herbicide which in theory should kill wild onions, Eraser A/P is not labeled to target wild onions. You may consider using Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone, which is a post-emergent herbicide that controls a wide range of broadleaf weeds in cool and warm-season residential lawns, including wild onion. Please refer to the product label to make sure your lawn type is included on the tolerance list, and for application instructions.
