Then you can apply a stump remover like Fertilome Brush and Stump killer. It will take 1-6 weeks to kill the root system. You will still have to do your part by removing the stump. Fertilome Brush and Stump Killer will kill the root system and make the stump stop sprouting but it does not make the stump disappear. The exact wording on the product labelis "To kill Stumps and prevent sprouting, apply the undiluted product with a paint brush or backpack sprayer to completely cover the freshly cut surface. Do not reuse paint brush. Wrap in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash."

Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide is a great non selective herbicide and you are welcome to try using it to kill a tree. Typically glyphosate products like the Eraser are not going to work quite as well on trees, but the Imazypyr in that product may help with that control since its used as a soil sterilizer. You would need to saturate the bark down and potentially mix in a surfactant or spreader sticker to help it soak into the tree better. If you find this application doesn't yield as great of a result as you hoped, we would recommend either mixing into the tank the Hi Yield Triclopyr or apply the solution undiluted with a paint brush to fresh hacks made into the trunk with a hatchet.
