    Q
Can Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide be used as a spot treatment around trees and bushes?
    A

Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide that will kill whatever it is sprayed on and should be used outside the drip line of desired trees and shrubs. For weeds within the drip line of trees/shrubs, you can spot treat the weed directly, just ensure that no drift or over spray gets on any desired plantings.  Avoid spraying any exposed roots.

    Q
Can I use Eraser Max to kill bamboo?
    A

Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide is strong enough at the highest rate to kill bamboo but should only be used where you also want to prevent anything from growing as it does also contain a soil sterilant.  If you just wish to kill the bamboo and not prevent growth in the area, you can use Round Up QuickPro instead at the highest listed usage rate to help eliminate bamboo. You will be required to cut the bamboo down to a short stump and then apply the Round Up QuickPro. It can take several applications to achieve the desired results.

  • Asked by Earl from Talpa, Tx
    01/09/2019
    Q
Do I use Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide full strength to kill yucca plants or do I mix the concentrate?
    A

Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide should be mixed at 6 oz per gallon for spot treating brush, vines and weeds.  Yucca is very tough! First you want to cut the plant down as much as possible. Then  you can apply a stump remover like Fertilome Brush and Stump killer. It will take 1-6 weeks to kill the root system. You will still have to do your part by removing the stump. Fertilome Brush and Stump Killer will kill the root system and make the stump stop sprouting but it does not make the stump disappear. The exact wording on the product labelis "To kill Stumps and prevent sprouting, apply the undiluted product with a paint brush or backpack sprayer to completely cover the freshly cut surface. Do not reuse paint brush. Wrap in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash."

    Q
Can I use Eraser max weed killer around pump house?
Worried about seepage into well water. Also, When I sprayed I for got about when it rains a puddle forms in driveway and animals drink out of it. How long will eraser max continue to contaminate a puddle formed near spray area.
    A

We would not advise to use Eraser Max near a well or in a place where there could be runoff. The residual of that product is 6-8 months possibly longer than that. We would not advise to use if there is a place where it accumulates like that.

    Q
Applying Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide to a gravel parking lot and road for weed control. Does this application need to be watered in for sterilant ground control like Mojave or Sahara?
Cannot get Mojave or Sahara shipped to my state anymore.
    A

It would not be necessary to water additionally after your application of Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide.  Since water is the carrier, the amount of water used in the tank mixture for your application should be sufficient for uniform coverage of the target area.

According to the directions on the product label you should mix 7.4 fl. oz. (0.46 pints) of product with water to produce 1 to 10 gallons of spray solution and to uniformly spray the mix over areas where total vegetation control and bareground is desired.

  • Asked by Mary from Mathis, Texas
    07/19/2021
    Q
Will Eraser Max kill a tree?
    I have some
    A

Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide is a great non selective herbicide and you are welcome to try using it to kill a tree. Typically glyphosate products like the Eraser are not going to work quite as well on trees, but the Imazypyr in that product may help with that control since its used as a soil sterilizer. You would need to saturate the bark down and potentially mix in a surfactant or spreader sticker to help it soak into the tree better. If you find this application doesn't yield as great of a result as you hoped, we would recommend either mixing into the tank the Hi Yield Triclopyr or apply the solution undiluted with a paint brush to fresh hacks made into the trunk with a hatchet.
