    Q
What do I do if this product was sprayed directly on my vegetable garden.
A mosquito control company used this product on my newly planted vegetable garden (I did not realize they were going to spray the garden and was assured that the product was all natural organic and safe.) Do I need to replace everything to be on the safe side? The broccoli, Brussel sprouts beets and radishes are not producing yet, but the lettuce spinach and kale would be consumed directly. I think they also sprayed my herbs. I don't plan to have them ever come back and I'm supposed to be getting a call from the corporate office bc the technicians have been trained to use it on the vegetable gardens. I can't imagine I'm the first person this has happened to. I just happened to be home that day to witness it and then did some research only to find out(to my astonishment) that it is not approved for use on vegetables. I was even more astonished to find that the mosquito company is ignorant to this. They say it only works for about 2 weeks and we had a solid day of rain the day after it was sprayed. I guess I just want to know what the best course of action would be with regard to the veggies and herbs. I don't want to consume anything that will harm my family in any way. Thanks!

    Q
Effective on horse stall walls / shavings?
Will this stuff once dry repel Mosquitos if they land on a horse stall wall for example? Also, can you treat the pine shavings or would it be toxic to horses if they eat off the floor/shavings. Also what about concrete floors in barns?
    A
The Essentria IC3 does leave a residual after it dries that could kill mosquitoes that come in contact with it. You should not apply this product to anything the horses may eat. The best way to treat the concrete floors would be good sanitation since this is not a typically a place mosquitoes would land. You could use the Essentria IC3 on the floors, but this probably would not help much with the flying insects.

    Q
Will Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate kill bugs in the washer for laundry, such as mites and how many ounces would you put in?
    A
No, we do not recommend applying Essentria IC3 insecticide concentrate to your laundry in the washer. It is only labeled for pest control treatment in and around the home. The heat alone from the water in the washer and the heat from the dryer should be sufficient enough to kill most all insects.

My neighbor had a service apply this to her property with a blower of some type. It sounded like a leaf blower. I was walking my dogs and my lungs began to hurt and my skin got a tingly feeling. 6 hours later I still have lung irritation causing occasional coughing. Is this reaction common?

    Q
We can't find our Instructions for using Essentria IC3.
Using for bed bug elimination and control
    A
Mix  Essentria IC3 at a rate of 1 to 4 ounces per gallon of water and apply as a
spot treatment to cracks and crevices, around baseboards, floorboards, headboards, and walls. In hotels and other public lodging facilities pay special attention to luggage stands and the adjacent area. On mattresses and springs spot treat only
areas that may harbor pests. Concentrate on tufts, seams, folds, and creases. Repeat as necessary. To prevent potential per gallon of water depending on application. Please see product label for specific application instructions. It takes more than one product to eradicate Bed Bugs. For that reason, we recommend using one of our specially designed Bed bug Kits.

    Q
Can Phantom termiticide/pesticide be combined with Essentria without affecting the phantom
    A
Phantom cannot be be mixed with Essentria. They use two different modes of action to kill. Phantom kills pests because, they can't even detect Phantom, so they walk right over it and then spread it to other insects hidden behind walls or in their home colony, killing every other pest they come in contact with. Phantom is virtually odorless, clear in color and provides superior pest control with a long-lasting residual. Essentria uses botanical oils and to more sensitve insects can repel.
