    Q
Will the Evercide Total Release Bomb kill termites?
    A
No.  The Evercide Total Release Bomb will only kill insects that are out in the open when the bomb goes off.  Termites are not out in the open, they work from the inside out.  The bomb does not penetrate into the walls where the termites are.  If you have live termites in the house you have to treat them directly with a liquid treatment.  We recommend Dominion 2L.  You also might want to read our "How To Do A Termite Treatment" Article.

    Q
Will Evercide Total Release Bomb kill the roaches?
    A
Evercide Total release Bomb is labeled for roaches and will kill roaches that are exposed at the time of the application. We recommend that you follow up with a roach bait gel and an insect growth regulator to get complete control of the roaches. We have put together the Roach Control Kit 1 for our customers' convenience. This kit comes with Advion roach Bait gel to help eliminate roaches where they hide, plus 20 Gentrol Point Source stations that provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals.

    Q
Will Evercide Total Release Bomb kill flea eggs?
If this product does not kill the eggs, how often should I bomb the house with the fogger if there are fleas in the house currently? I understand that fleas can lie dormant for up to 200 days. Do I need to bomb the house every few weeks until then?
    A
No, Evercide Total Release Bomb will not kill flea eggs . Most insecticides will not kill flea eggs. You will need to thoroughly vacuum all carpets and rugs before you treat and everyday for the next 14 days. The bombs will kill exposed adult and juvenile fleas, but will not get rid of anything hiding in cracks or crevices. And you should treat every two weeks until all of the fleas are gone. Please take a look at our Indoor Flea kit and Outdoor/Indoor Flea kit see the products that are most popular.

    Q
Will the Evercide Total Release Bomb kill black widow spiders?
    A
Yes, Evercide Total Release Bombs will kill black widow spiders if they are exposed during the treatment. Spiders that are hiding in concealed locations during the actual application will not be contacted with the wet spray and most likely not be eliminated. In most cases, eliminating the spiders food source (other insects) will help get rid of the spiders, they will either die of starvation or will move to a location with a food source.

    Q
Will Evercide Total Release bomb kill bed bugs & their eggs?
    A
Foggers are not recommended for bedbugs. Bedbugs hide directly in cracks and crevices, foggers meanwhile only go straight up in the air and then come straight down onto surfaces. Foggers do not penetrate into cracks and crevices where bedbugs harbor. Please check out our bedbug control kits. These kits contain the products you need to effectively control bedbugs. The key to bedbug elimination is good quality products and thorough treatments.

    Q
Why do the instructions for the Evercide bug bomb say to repeat spraying in 2 weeks?
I was wondering why the instructions for the Evercide bug bomb say to repeat spraying in 2 weeks? I wouldn't be able to get my animal out long enough to do that. And is one enough for a 700 square foot apartment, or do I need one for bedroom and one for living room? Thank you!!!
    A
It sort of depends on what you are treating for, but bug bombs like the Evercide bug bomb only kill what is out in the open at the time of the application.  When you set the can off the product goes straight up into the room and then straight down.  For this reason it is usually recommended to do multiple treatments because the bugs that are in the walls and other places will not be affected when you set the bomb off.  Also, since the bomb goes straight up out of the can and straight down, it will typically only fill the room that you set it off in.  So it would be recommended to set one off in the bedroom and living room.

    Q
Will Evercide Total Release Bom kill wasps
have hidden wasps nests in my garage, will this kill them
    A
The fogger will only be able to kill wasps that are exposed at the time the fogger is released, it will not penetrate in cracks and crevices to kill the hidden wasps. If you can see the holes the wasps are entering into you can dust those holes with Tempo dust. The dust will eliminate the wasps over several days.

    Q
Is product safe for dishes etc. after used or must everything be washed?
    After use, are animals safe?
    A
You will need to cover all exposed food, dishes and food handling equipment prior to setting off the evercide bomb. Keep animals out of the area while the bomb is going off, once it has settled and the area has been ventilated the animals can return to the area.

    Q
    Will Evercide kill aphids?
    A
Evercide is not labeled for aphids, most likely because it cannot be used on plants where aphids live. We do carry a product called 1300 Orthene TR Micro Total Release which is labeled for use on aphids in commercial greenhouses. You should take a few moments to read through the product label to be sure that the plants you need to treat are listed on the label.

    Q
Can this be tossed in a crawl space (3ft high) or does it need to be stood up right?
    A
It is very important that you read and follow the product label exactly when using a bomb or fogger. The Evercide Total Release Bombs product label instructs you to place the canister in an upright position on a table or stand in the middle of the room. Also the Evercide Total Release Bomb is not labeled for use in crawlspaces because the space is most likely too small.

    Q
I moving into a new home, should I treat the UHaul with the Evercide prior to moving into the new place?
My current apartment is infested with roaches, mice and spiders.
    A
We do not recommend bombing the moving truck, because it is too small a space and any spiders that may be hiding in the boxes would not be touched. We do however recommend treating the house you are moving into. You could use Demon WP and apply as a coarse, low pressure treatment to areas where these pests hide, such as baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics and eaves, cabinets, sinks, furnaces, stoves, behind and under refrigerators, the underside of shelves, drawers and similar areas. Also, spray around the outside perimeter of the home 2-3 feet up and 2-3 feet out.You may want to consider purchasing some Nuvan ProStrips to place in the boxes and storage containers. They will kill spiders and roaches for up to 4 months. Please read the product label for additional information.

    Q
How long are the fumes dangerous to pets or humans after the bug bombs are done?
I want to buy a bug bomb that I can do myself for a new apartment. The lease states I can do it 5 days before my possession of the place. Will this be enough time for any harmful fumes to dissipate? I'm sure I'll be fine, but fumes/sprays can kill my bird, so I need to know. Thank you very much.
    A
All bug bombs will have the amount of time you should vacate the premises for on the can.  Most, however, have about a 3 to 4 hour window where you cannot enter the premises after setting the bug bomb off.  So 5 days should be no problem at all.

    Q
Can Evercide Total Release Bomb kill Carpet Beatles?
We have recently come across a ton of Carpet Beatles and out basemen is just full of boxes and no carpet, we also have two cats kept down there. We don't know how to control them.
    A
Evercide Total Release Bomb is not labeled for carpet beetles.

Most carpet beetle problems and infestations can be eliminated using the following products:

    1. Suspend SC - This odorless insecticide can be applied as a spot treatment and in cracks and crevices where carpet beetles are harboring. Do not use insecticides on clothing or surfaces where food is prepared. This product is easily applied using a gallon sprayer.

    2. Gentrol IGR Concentrate- This birth control for insects can be added directly to your liquid insecticide solution (Suspend SC) in the sprayer before spraying. That way you will apply two insecticides at once. While Suspend kills the adult carpet beetles, the Gentrol will kill off the larvae so they are unable to fully develop.

    3. Delta Dust- Apply Drione Dust using a hand duster only after Suspend SC has application had completely dried. Dust should be applied with a hand duster into all cracks and crevices where the spray cannot penetrate.
    4. Always make sure to VACUUM. Vacuuming is an effective way to kill these hard-to-eliminate life stages of carpet beetles. When vacuuming, be sure to do so every couple of days while you work your elimination plan. Vacuum over carpeted areas several times and use attachments as need to cover furniture and draperies.
