    Q
Can I use Bifin I/T with ExciteR and not use tekko
Right now I am using Bifin and Tekko I still have mosquitos on one part of my property bad.. so I sent a email and was told about ExciteR I would like to know if I can get good results w out Tekko things get pricey I have about 4 acres along the bushes trees and perimeter. It's wet and known as mosquito country since we sprayed (we started by paying for 10 years now we do our own)
    A
Yes, ExciteR Insecticide can be mixed with Bifen I/T. The Exciter is a fast knockdown so it leaves Bifen as the residual and Tekko Pro as the growth regulator. However, you do not have to mix all 3 together.

    Q
Using Exciter with BP100 in Actisol or UlV
Can this be tank mixed with BP100 for use in an Actisol and or ULV Machine for use on German Roaches? If so, is it better to mix with water/Mineral oil or just add it to the stand alone product in the tank? If i need to mix it what would be the ratio and percentage of product.
    A
There is no need to tank mix ULD BP-100 and ExciteR as they are both contact killers, and they are both labeled to target cockroaches. Overapplying products can sometimes cause them to not work properly. As stated on the product label of ExciteR, "ExciteR

    A
Yes, ExciteR Insecticide can be mixed with insecticides such as Permethrin SFR 36.8%. However, we would not classify this as our most effective method of control. Please take a few moments to read our guide on how to get rid of bed bugs.

    Q
Does ExciteR Insecticide and Bonide Pyrethrins use the same active ingredients and chemicals?
If they are the same, can I just dilute ExciteR to the same level as the Bonide product? The ExciteR labels lists the same active ingredients as Bonide but at 6 times the concentration. I want to use it for spotted lantern fly control in my vegetable garden
    A

Although products may contain the same active ingredients, this does not warrant that they can also be used in the same areas. They should be applied as directed on the label for the listed areas only.

Neither ExciteR or Bonide Pyrethrin Garden Insect Spray are labeled for Spotted Lantern Flies therefore would not be recommended.  ExciteR is also not labeled for use on edibles or in vegetable gardens.

Unfortunately, we do not carry a product specifically labeled to target spotted lantern flies on edible vegetation. We would recommend contacting your Master Gardener at your local cooperative extension office for a recommendation

    Q
Is ExciteR Insecticide effective on hornets?
    A

ExciteR Insecticide is not specifically labeled for hornets but is labeled for wasps at the rate of 2.125 to 4.25 fl oz per gallon of water. View the product label for more information regarding application areas.

Since ExciteR is a contact kill only pyrethrin insecticide, we would recommend adding ExciteR in the tank mix with a residual insecticide like Talstar P for combination of contact kill + residual. Tasltar P is mixed at 1 fl oz per gallon of water.

For ground hornets, drenching the soil where the nest is located is an effective method as well as using dusting the openings/holes where the colony enters and exits the nest. Tempo 1% Dust or Delta Dust would be the recommended product for dusting ground hornets/wasps/yellow jacket nests.

    Q
What can ExciteR Insecticide be tank mixed for a longer residual and safe around horses and in stables?
    A

Permethrin SFR would be a great product to use around horses and other labeled livestock for flies, mosquitoes, and many other insects. It can last roughly 30 days with each application, and can be tank mixed with the Exciter insecticide for contact kill and knock down during application.

    Q
How does ExciteR Insecticide differ from Shockwave?
    A

The same active ingredient that is in ExciteR Insecticide can be found in Shockwave. Both synergists would work the same, one is not better than the other.
