Products that contain bromethalin such as Fastrac are not to be used near wells, water reservoirs, or in areas where there is a possibility of contaminating sources of drinking water.

Yes, Fastrac Blox are safe for use indoors. Be sure to use this product inside of a rodent bait station.
You should place the Fastrac Blox inside of tamper resistant stations to secure the blox so that the rats can not carry them away to unsecured locations. Be sure to place plenty of stations out as this type of rat can be territorial and will stop other rats from visiting certain stations.
Fastrac All-Weather Blox does not stop mice from reproducing. It kills them after feeding within 12-48 hours.
Fastrac All-Weather Blox is a neurotoxin that damages the central nervous system.
Fastrac All-Weather Blox is one of our most popular rodent baits for outdoor use. Fastrac Blox offers a lethal dose in a single feeding, with the first dead rodents appearing in one or two days after bait consumption. Fastrac must be used in a tamper resistant bait station outdoors to avoid accidental ingestion by non-target animals or children.
Each 4 lb. Pail of Fastrac All-Weather Blox contains approximately 128 (15 gram) Bait Blocks.
Rats that have eaten the Fastrac All-Weather Blox and then die are supposed to be removed and disposed of if they are found. Animals that eat exposed carcasses will usually have to eat many carcasses before they receive enough bait to have a reaction, but a secondary poisoning is possible. Terad3 Blox is a product that has a lower risk of secondary poisoning should a predatory animal eat a rat carcass.
Yes, Fastrac All-Weather Blox is labeled to control voles. For more tips please take a few moments to read our article on Vole Control.
Fastrac Rodenticide is a great fast kill rat bait that can be shipped to California.
After a rat consumes a lethal dose of the bait of any rodenticide it is possible that the animal can get into an area that is inaccessible making removing the carcass impossible. This can lead to a terrible odor and a secondary insect infestation. While you can bait indoors using a tamper resistant bait station, we strongly discourage it. Baiting outside the structure and using snap traps/glueboards indoors is suggested. If you choose to bait inside, please place rat bait inside tamper resistant bait stations and place the stations out of reach of non-target animals and children.

Fastrac All-Weather Blox is not restricted use. We are not able to sell any products that are labeled as such.
Please contact your Local Sanitation Dept for guidelines in your area on disposal of unused Fastrac All-Weather Blox.
To protect individual vehicles you may want to consider using T-Rex snap traps beneath the vehicle and resting on the vehicle tires overnight. Tamper-resistant rodent bait stations loaded with bait such as Fastrac Blox will help reduce the level of mice and rats if there are more on the property to a more manageable level. These products can be purchased together in our Rodent Kits: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/rodent-kits-c-21_405.html.
We do also have rodent repellents which you could use around the area where a vehicle is parked to help deter rodents from this areas. Rat Magic is a granule repellent that could be spread easily around the area (do not use indoors such as in a garage).
When using Fastrac Blox along with any other rodent bait, there is no way to pinpoint where the rodent will die. They could, unfortunately, die anywhere - under couch, in walls, etc. and there can be an odor. The only way to guarantee where the rodent dies is to use traps such as the T-Rex Traps or Victor Tin Cat Mouse Traps.
