    Q
Is Fendona CS a repellent or non repellent?
I know something like cypermethrin is a repellant but is this different?
    A

Fendona CS Controlled Release Insecticide is a micro-mesh encapsulation insecticide and is not a non-repellent. This is a residual insecticide, so it would only be considered a non-repellent as far as social insects like ants are concerned, meaning that it does not have a slow enough kill to transfer throughout the colony.

    Q
How many hours does it take Fendona to kill scorpions?
    A

It can take several days for Fedona to kill scorpions. Scorpions, like spiders, do not groom themselves which limits how quickly the active ingredient can get inside their bodies. Fedona will also kill the insects that the scorpions are there to feed on, which will help your control efforts.

  • Asked by Claude from Sherbrooke
    04/09/2019
    Q
For houses near a lake, would it be effective to spray all the exterior of the house against spiders with Fendona CS?
    A

We recommend keeping Fendona CS Controlled Release Insecticide treatments at least 25 feet from bodies of water to avoid runoff into the lake.  Otherwise it would be good to use for spiders.  You would not apply to all exterior surfaces. Per the product label for perimeter treatments:  Treat a band of soil 6 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to the building.  Also treat the building foundation to a height of 2 to 3 feet where pests are active and may find entrance.  Treat other insect entry points such as doors, windows; under siding, decks and eaves of structure.   Application should be made in such a manner to limit dripping and runoff on structural surfaces and plants.

    Q
Can you spray Fendona CS Controlled Release Insecticide for German Cockroaches in cabinets and around baseboards/ceilings in homes?
    A

Yes, you can use Fendona CS Insecticide as part of roach treatment in residential areas as a spot and crack and crevice spray. You should not spray in kitchens in any way that would contaminate food, utensils, or food-handling surfaces. We generally recommend using a roach bait gel in more sensitive areas where it is difficult to spray. Please take a few moments to review our Roach Treatment Guide for more tips.

    Q
Can I mix Fedona CS with Bifen IT (or Talstar P)? Can I spray Taurus along with the Fedona/Bifen inside?
Problems: springtails (yes, read your guide, working on it), Brown Recluse and Carpenter Ants I am looking for a good Brown Recluse knock down with some residual for a perimeter & an indoor crack/crevice, under baseboards etc. spray. I would like to know if I can combine Fedona w/ Bifen. We also have carpenter ants moving closer to the house from their current tree nests- want to take care of those too but I know they will respond better Taurus. Can I use all 3 outside (not in same sprayer) and just the Fedona/Bifen inside? Any of them good to help knock down some of the springtail population? You all are doing important work, Thank you!
    A

Due to their similarities in action, Fendona SC and Bifen IT should not be mixed together. Because of the activity you're dealing with, you can use Fendona CS inside on baseboards, cracks and crevices and use Taurus SCon the outside perimeter of your home.
