    Q
Can you spray plum trees with FenvaStar EcoCap
    A
FenvaStar EcoCap cannot be applie to edible vegetation. What exactly are you treating for? Depending on what you are treating for, you can use Malathion on Plum Trees.  You should apply at a rate of 2 tablespoons per gallon of water.  Typically Malathion will last for 30 days before it needs to be re-applied.  You should not apply this product within 2 weeks of harvesting.

    Q
Will Fenvastar EcoCap kill gypsy moth egg masses?
The egg masses I can see and reach I have been slicing them with my box cutter blade then giving them a good soaking with the Fenvatar solution (1oz per gallon mix). Is there any effectiveness in what I am doing or am I just wasting my product? Probably sliced and soaked 100 egg masses today.
    A

FenvaStar EcoCap will not kill egg masses as they are protected and it is not a contact kill.  Once the caterpillar hatch and crawl across a treated area they would be killed.

    Q
Will Fenvastar EcoCap kill the Bougainvillea Looper in Southern California?
Does anyone have experience with using this product to control loopers- especially bougainvillea loopers? Is there another product that would be better? If we apply FenvaStar, should it be mixed with an IGR for this application? We have had limited success with applying imidacloprid both as a leaf spray and as a soil application. BT and Spinosad have not worked either.
    A

We typically recommend Spinosad for looper control as it is highly effective against the adults and young larvae Customers have had great success when plants are treated as needed with the adequate amount of coverage. However, Fenvastar EcoCap is labeled for looper control as well but unfortunately, we have not heard any feedback from customers using Fenvastar Eco Cap on Bougainvillea to control loopers and we are also not aware of any IGR on the market that is labeled for loopers. Be sure to read and follow the label instructions and if we can help further please let us know.
