Ferti-Lome A-Vert Plus Lawn Food 18-0-12 is a granular fertilizer containing Gallery and Team, preemergence herbicides for application to established home lawns for control of certain broadleaf weeds and annual grasses. Ferti-Lome A-Vert Plus Lawn Food 18-0-12 will not control existing weeds. Existing weeds should be controlled with a foliarly applied post-emergent herbicide either before or after application of Ferti-Lome A-Vert Plus Lawn Food 18-0-12.

Bermuda Yard in North Texas. I fought weeds for over a year using other products, then used a lawn service that was even worse. This year I fired the lawn service, and ordered this stuff. One application in April, and my yard looks like a golf course! I have only pulled 2 weeds on the outer perimeter (near sidewalk) since application. This stuff even killed, slowly over several weeks, already flowering Poa Annua which is tough to kill without killing the Bermuda. I would love to post a pic of my yard if anyone wants to see it for proof. If not, just trust me, this stuff is awesome!

Per the product label: "Optimum weed control performance will be obtained when an application is followed by sprinkler irrigation or rainfall within a few hours. A single rainfall or sprinkler irrigation of 0.5 inch or more is required to activate Ferti-Lome A-Vert Plus Lawn Food 18-0-12".
