    I have a 4 week old lawn. Is now the time to apply theFerti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 ?
    Just laid fescue been down month can I apply Started 9-13-7 now?

    Do you put down Fertilome New Lawn Starter fertilizer on dirt under new sod?
    Or do you apply later ? I am sodding with Palmetto St. Augustine.

    Can I use the Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer in the spring on my lawn without throwing seed down?

    Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 should be applied with grass seed or immediately afterwards.

    I applied Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 on my new Bermuda Sod. Have I killed it?

    You should wait and let the roots establish before putting anything on your new sod or apply the Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 to the dirt prior to putting down the sod.  Time will tell if you have harmed the new sod or not.

    What is the recommended starter fertilizer make up when reseeding in the fall?
    This is a tall fescue lawn.

    You will want to use a starter formulation when putting down new seed to help the new roots establish such as Fertilome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7. After about 4-8 weeks you could then use an organic fertilizer like Espoma Organic All Season Lawn Food. This video in our Do My Own Lawn Care series addresses fertilizing new fescue seed.     Can Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 be used with centipede seed?

    Yes, you can apply Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 with your grass seed as you seed your lawn or immediately afterwards.  What fertilizer you would need is going to vary depending on what nutrients are needed.     I did not plant new seed when applied Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7, what should I do?
    A

    Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 should be applied first before seeding and worked into the top 2-3 inches of the soil. Your next step is seeding/sodding or sprigging the new seed. After the seed application, immediately water the areas thoroughly and keep soil constantly moist for several weeks after application or until new grass is securely rooted. Do not keep soil saturated with water.

    Can I use Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 for over seeding my existing centipede?
    A
    Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 is formulated to insure it will not hurt newly seeded lawns. It is also safe to use on centipede lawns and centipede seed when applied as directed on the label. It is completely safe for established lawns.
