Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 should be applied with grass seed or immediately afterwards.
You will want to use a starter formulation when putting down new seed to help the new roots establish such as Fertilome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7. You should wait and let the roots establish before putting anything on your new sod or apply the Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7 to the dirt prior to putting down the sod. Time will tell if you have harmed the new sod or not.
