Can Not Find Enough

All local suppliers can not keep up with the demand. Especially the big box stores. Little bags just don't make it for the serious home gardener. Once everyone understands peat moss and vermiculite hold water and promote drainage, it's a shortage of product!

Plan to use to cover grass seed on lawn overseediing
Ferti-Lome Pure Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss does not state that it contains any type of weeds/weed seed. We would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly to confirm, though. They can be reached at 888-583-5296.

The Fertilome Pure Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss is an organic material that can be used for a variety of purposes. While we haven't had anyone specifically ask about this use before, there are no components within the moss that would be harmful to the worms.

Ferti-Lome Pure Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss 2.2 cu. ft. is an organic OMRI-certified product, so this can be applied around any plants as needed. Since this is made for agricultural use, we are not sure if you would get the same benefits introducing this back into a very wet area.
