    Is Ferti-Lome Tomato and Vegetable Food 7-22-8 granule or powder form?
    I used to get the ferti-Lome pink bag gardeners special and it was powder form. I just picked a bag of the gardeners special up and it is now granule. I prefer the powder. Is this it or do you recommend a product for my garden?

    The Ferti-Lome Tomato and Vegetable Food 7-22-8 is a granule per the MSDS.  We also carry the Ferti-Lome Gardener’s Special 11-15-11 which also states on the MSDS that it is a granule.  We just started carrying this line of products so are not familiar enough to recommend the best pr…

    How much to feed tomato plants in a pot (about 12" pots)
    I did purchase this product, but how much to feed each plant in pots, about 12" pots. I used about 1.5 to 2 tablespoons per plant. Wioll that work?

    According to the product label, you apply Ferti-lome Tomato and Vegetable Food 7-22-8 at the following rates:  
     
    Individual plants: 1-1/3 tablespoons into soil
    Established beds: 1 1/3 lbs. per 50 sq. ft.
    Established rows: 2/3 lb. per 20 ft. row
