We do recommend that you review the Weed Free Zone product label to be sure that your grass type is listed as a tolerant species.
According to the Ferti-lome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec product label, do not apply this product to newly seeded lawn grasses until well established. Established turf is usually 8 weeks or at least 2 mowings.

Ferti-lome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec can take up to 2-4 weeks to completely kill dollarweed and it may take a few applications if not treated right after it emerges while young
