Not impressed
By Kim on 12/30/2015
I have roof rats because of the citrus trees I have. I bought this stuff because of the good reviews. I have had it for a month in six different stations with three blocks in each station. Not ONE block has been touched. I understand they are neophobic and are hesitant to new things, but I think a month should be long enough. I know they are still out there because my grounds are free from fallen citrus. Every once in a while an orange will fall and the next day I will see it pitted out. My only thought is that the rats prefer the sweet orange over this hardened red colored block. Like putting a candy and an apple in front of a child. I wouldn't have spent $150 on this + stations if my problem were to remain unfixed. So for this reason I am unsatisfied and will give 3 out of five stars. I think I'm being generous too.

Quite effective. Use gloves when handling. Use stations.
By Phil on 12/01/2018
Moved to an older house surrounded by mature trees, shrubs, bushes, etc... complete with elevated decking and walkways. Provides plenty of cover for anything small enough to live under and around those things. Noticed lots of droppings on window ledges. Got the 4 pail pack (I figured the unopened pails would stay fresh longer), and a 6 pack of large rodent bait stations from here. Put out 3-4 baits in each of 4 stations - under decking and elevated walkways. Checked in a week. All bait gone. Repeat. Most bait gone in another week. Repeat again with fresh bait. More bait remains after the third week, and reduced frequency of checks to 2-3 week intervals, and number of baits down to 2 per station. In colder months check 1x per month. I can do this indefinitely. Now, I occasionally get a cleaned out bait station (mostly in the spring and fall) but usually just nibbles. This has eliminated rodent problems for me in the 2 years of using it. No more mouse droppings on window ledges. I do occasionally find a dead mouse or vole in the yard, but that's OK. Use the horizontal rods in the bait stations rather than the vertical posts - easier maintenance and keeps them from making a mess in the station when temps hit 90 in the summer. Always use locking bait stations and rubber/silicone gloves when handling. My dog (and neighbourhood foxes) are sometimes drawn to these when the bait is fresh, but they can't get at it since they don't have a key. Do the math - pro exterminators will hit you for about the cost of a 4 pail pack of this and large bait stations twice a year. I'm on my first purchase 2 years in. My neighbours use pros - still complain about rodents - and call those same pros back again and again.

So far not even a nibble
By Erik on 09/10/2020
I thought that if I updated to a "professional" bait that I would see quick results. Professional rat traps, always use gloves while handling, left in same location for 3 weeks, etc.. All the things I'm supposed to do and not even a nibble. It appears that I am down about $200 and the rats haven't even lost a life. Traps even have the snap traps installed with peanut butter and attractant. Still no evidence of activity. I could use some advice.

Rat Haven
By Erik on 09/10/2013
I love Generation, but I'm always looking for a new product, I tried this got some nibbles on some accounts, the rats in Ontario, Ca ate it all, I'll let you know how it goes in the Country in Diamond Bar; When I go back, there's many rats there so many that I made the customer buy there own bucket to help me keep the same price for control (using Generation).

Final All-Weather Blox
By Barbara on 12/30/2017
Excellent product. I had both mice and rats in my basement. They ate the bait right away. I kept putting it in the basement, plugged up entryways into the house and baited outside. It took about 10 days to thoroughly rid the place of them. A product that works as advertised.

Best Rodent Bait Ever!
By Evan on 10/02/2018
I have been doing Pest Control for a living for 14 years and this bait is more accepted than any other bait on the market by all Rodents unless you're going after a fuzzy tailed woodrat / pack rat. Rodents eat less due to the lack of candy fillers therefore are less likely to affect predators that may encounter the rodent as it weakens and or dies and becomes a meal.

Great product
By Shannon on 10/24/2020
This came highly recommended by a pest control company, so thought I'd give it a try. I put out the blox final poison for our mouse problem. Within a week, all the poison was gone. The mice devoured it. It was a little more than I wanted to spend on mice, lol, but so well worth the money, no mice in the house is a huge win!! I would recommend this product over the stuff you buy in the stores. And will buy again.

Disappointed
By Wayne on 10/29/2021
Disappointed! Swept micedroppings out of outdoor garage so could see if more droppings showed up. Placed bait around perimeter walls and near where most droppings had been. The droppings showed up again but no signs of eating bait. Also baited squirrel traps and caught squirrel traps. Left them for couple days and bait was gone but squirrel still alive. Had to shoot squirrels. Disappointed so far.

DIDN'T WORK
By Steve on 08/01/2017
I tried the GUARDIAN first and the rats won't touch it. This had good reviews so I tried FINAL. No luck, rats won't eat it either. They love peanut butter, so I mixed up a batch with peanut butter in it and put globs in the bait box. Didn't touch it. I guess I'll just name the rats and learn to live with them....

Rodents do not eat this product
By James on 09/05/2017
The mice and rats that go into my dispensers eat the peanut butter sugar and flour I put down to draw them into the dispenser and they turn away from the bait Not even a nibble. I believe this product is a waste of money because the rodents do not like the taste.

deadly
By Tom on 07/14/2018
This works great and the mice die out in the open. With other baits they die in the walls. With this I find them in the middle of the floor. I ran out of ground squirrel bait so I am trying it on them. They are eating it. At least they are taking it into their tunnels. Time will tell if it kills them.
Great product for rodents!
