Flock Free Bird Repellent RTS is a safe, all-natural, ready-to-use bird deterrent that repels birds away from targeted areas. Its active ingredients combine to form a visual, smell, taste, feather, and beak nerve irritant that does not harm birds, but irritates them and causes them to want to leave the area where it has been applied. It is safe for people, pets, livestock, trees, lawns, and plants, and dries clear. Repels nuisance birds such as seagulls, geese, pigeons, ducks, rooks, blackbirds, swallows, sparrows, starlings, jackdaws, and crows. Easy to apply, just use the convenient spray bottle to apply to any areas you want to protect from birds. For best results, apply once a week for four weeks, and then monthly as needed.

We live in a ground floor apartment with a rear deck. In the underside corners of the deck above us are two cubby-holes where house finches and sparrows love to build nests. I enjoy the birds, but my wife who uses the deck complains about the mess the make. As expected, YT solutions like vinegar or diluted cayenne don’t work for more than a day or two. Spraying Flock Free once a week, as directed, has now worked for 6+ weeks. Wife is happy - me not so much. I miss the finches. My only complaint with the product is that the sprayer isn't strong enough to reach 9-10', but problem solved by swapping out the sprayer with one from an unused 32oz ZEP spray bottle. Perfect. Domyown has been my go-to for pest control since 2012, when we had a year-long carpenter ant problem at our house. In 10 days DMO solved what $500+ to an exterminator didn't, at a fraction of the cost.
