Flock Free Mosquito Spray Concentrate can be used on potted plants if they are treated outdoors and allowed to completely dry before bringing them indoors. This product is made of all-natural ingredients including peppermint, geraniol, garlic, and clove oils so will have a strong odor even after drying.This will repel adult mosquitoes and and suffocate mosquito larvae.  BTI Mosquito Dunks can also be used in areas where there is standing water for mosquito larvae control. These dunks are effective for 30 days.  It is possible that there were larvae in the drained water if it was left to sit outside and adults laid eggs in it.  We would recommend using a fly light such as the FlyWeb Fly Light to help catch any that are inside.  You can also use a space like 565 XLO to kill those out in the open at the time you spray
