Garden tip:  Lawn care is simple with Happy Frog. For moderate-climate grasses like bluegrass, rye, and fescue, apply four pounds (one box) to every 150 square feet in March, May, July, and October. For tropical grasses like Bermuda and St. Augustine, apply the same amounts in April, May, June, July, and August. Spread evenly with a garden spreader and water thoroughly.

A full organic lawn care program also includes leaving the grass clippings on the lawn to decompose and add nitrogen, and raking in compost twice a year, in spring and fall. This helps re-charge soil microbe colonies that allow plant roots to take up nutrients.
