FUSE Termiticide/Insecticide contains both imidacloprid and fipronil as its active ingredients. Both ingredients work by affecting the insects' nervous systems, creating a highly effective method of pest control. It is labeled for termite and perimeter pest control applications. In addition to termites, Fuse will control many other insect pests including ants, earwigs, millipedes, boxelder bugs, silverfish, and pillbugs. Please consult the label for a complete list. Fuse is non-repellant, which means that the insects cannot detect it and will readily come into contact with it. In doing so, they will receive a lethal dose of the insecticide. With insects such as termites and ants, they will also carry this lethal dose back to the colony and spread it among the other insects as well.
Fuse is not labeled to be used directly on pets
NOTE: This product is not approved for use in the state of Louisana for Post-Construction Treatments.
Fuse is now available in a 7.5 oz bottle. This is a convenient size for backpack, handheld sprayer and large tank applications. One bottle will make up to 25 gallons and is great for exterior perimeter pest programs.

FUSE contains imidacloprid and fipronil. Both act in the insects’ nervous systems, but in different locations. Imidacloprid targets post-synaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in insects, causing over-stimulation of the insects’ nervous systems. Fipronil acts as a post-synaptic gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) inhibitor, also resulting in over-stimulation of the insects’ nervous systems.
USE INSTRUCTIONS
For subterranean termite control, specific treatment recommendations may differ due to regulations, treatment procedures, soil types, construction practices and other factors. The purpose of chemical soil treatment for termite control is to establish a continuous treated zone (horizontal and/or vertical) between the wood and other cellulose material in the structure and the termite colonies in the soil. The establishment of an aerial or above ground colony may require additional treatments to control the termites, as well as landscape modifications, and/or structural repairs to deny termites of a moisture source. Use a 0.067% to 0.13% dilution based on current recommendations. For a typical control situation, a 0.067% dilution is used. A 0.13% dilution may be used when a severe or persistent infestation exists.

Wide Band 2 ft up by 2 ft out |

Fuse
By Pam on 09/22/2017
Fuse works well. I've had to sweep thousands of dead Odorous House Ants off the steps and porch several times since using it. I wish they sold it in smaller bottles. I have enough for the whole neighborhood. Unfortunately the ingredients are quite dangerous. Recent research has shown the "neonic" ingredients to kill worms, fish, frogs, as well as insects. If plants take up the poison insects drinking nectar from the flowers, like bees, will get poisoned, as well as those sucking sap or chewing leaves, so it is critical to removed plants withing 2 feet of the house. That is a lot of work! I wish there had been another way to kill the ants which were vastly multiplied this year. I have battled them for years but the colonies keep growing. This will keep them out of the house at least. Use sparingly with extreme caution. I did save about $250 compared to having the exterminator do it, but he wasn't going to do the real work of removing the plants. That was up to me.

FUSE
By Joyce on 05/23/2016
Fuse Termiticide has a 3-5 year shelf life when stored properly (in a cool, dry area away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight). If the product is exposed to extreme temperatures (such as freezing), this can cause the product to lose efficacy and no longer provide desired results.
FUSE Termiticide Insecticide is a non-repellent insecticide that is undetectable to target pestes, allowing them to touch, ingest, and spread the insecticide throughout the entire colony. Typically, it takes an average of 90 days to eliminate a termite colony.

Please refer to the bottom portion of Page 21 of the product label for a full list of insects Fuse Termiticide Insecticide will treat.
I recently took in a stray cat that has 2 kittens. They are all 3 infested with fleas. The kittens are about 7 days old. What can I do??
FUSE Termiticide Insecticide is an insecticide only and will not kill any frogs. We found an article here with more information on removing Cuban tree frogs in your area.
For treating active infestations indoors, you can use Fuse Foam Ready-to-Use Termiticide Insecticide to inject into the colony. Both FUSE products have a shelf life of 3-5 years when stored in a cool dry place.

FUSE Termiticide Insecticide can be used around the perimeter of your home to control the listed insects. However, this product is only specifically labeled for Cellar Spiders. A better option would be Demand CS. Demand CS would be a great choice for spider control as well as general insect control. Microencapsulated products like this one will hold up better outdoors, and their larger particle size makes them easier for larger insects like spiders and scorpions to pick up on their bodies. It is also a great choice for indoor spider control. Spraying Demand CS will also help to get rid of the other insects (silverfish, sow bugs aka rollie pollies and millipedes) that spiders feed on and that will help to stop new spiders from moving inside. Indoors, spray around all baseboards, door frames, window frames, under appliances, in closets and storage rooms and in areas where utilities enter into the structure. Outdoors you should spray around the bottom of the foundation, on the ground adjacent to the foundation, door frames, window frames and places where the utilities enter into the structure.

Customers often don't want decorative slabs or pavers to be drilled if no activity is present on that slab or area. Does the fuse label require us to still drill those attached slabs and damage the pavers/decorative slab?
When using FUSE Termiticide Insecticide for termite treatments, it will be applied in the same manner as other termiticides. The idea is to create an uninterrupted barrier around the exterior foundation of your home so any termite attempting to gain access to your structure will travel through the treated soil. So you would still need to drill through any concrete that may be interrupting the soil to foundation contact in order apply your termiticide to complete that uninterrupted barrier.

FUSE Termiticide is not restricted except in the states of New York and California. If you do not live in one of those states, then you can purchase this product without a pesticide license as long as you are using it for your own use and property. You do need a license when you are treating other people's property for profit.

Yes, Nyguard IGR can be added to FUSE Termiticide Insecticide and tank mixed to be applied together. Nyguard can be added to any insecticide for growth regulation as well as being applied by itself. Be sure the insects you are targeting and the areas that you need to treat are on the labels for both products. Keep in mind that FUSE is NOT labeled for flea treatment of any kind nor should it be used for broadcast application over the yard for any use.

Fuse Termiticide Insecticide should not be used directly on plants intentionally; it should be applied directly around the structure as directed on the product label. If some of the product were to drift onto ornamentals or turf, it would not harm them. Be careful to apply when conditions are calm and drift will not contact flowering plants where pollinators are present.

Fuse Termiticide Insecticide is not labeled for fleas. We would recommend a product like Talstar Xtra Granules for your lawn. This is an excellent and cost effective solution for fast-acting, long lasting protection.
