The Gardner AG-961 Electric Grid Fly Light Trap is a powerful, compact light trap ideal for small areas where space is limited to capture flies and other flying insects. It is made from aluminum and opens on both sides for 360-degree visibility to easily capture insects. There is no need for glue boards with this light trap contains no need for glue boards. Instead, it has a protected electric grid where insects fall into a removable drawer. The trap may be used 24/7 with no chemical trapping needed. It attracts insects within a 2,500 sq. ft. range with its two 18 inch, 25 watt energy-efficient U.V. insect bulbs. This trap is FDA and USDA accepted under current code. It is UL approved/listed and comes with a 115v/60hz 6-foot cord. This trap may be suspended from a ceiling, used as a portable tabletop trap or mounted 3 to 6 feet high on a wall. I have a barn, converted into a house with wood interior, and I need to control black/cluster flies. I need something portable as home is used for guest lodging, will this unit be effective? I like the idea of not having to use glue strips.
