Gentrol Point Source works by damaging adult insects listed on the label, including stored product pests like confused flour beetles, and preventing them from reproducing. Although it would not prevent confused flour beetles altogether, if you currently had adult confused flour beetles within 75 square feet of a disc placement, it would work to prevent them from reproducing.

You should place a Gentrol Point Source disc in each room. For the kitchen area, you can use the sticky tabs included in the package and place the disc on the side or behind the fridge or place it to the side of the cabinets or pantry. You only need to keep the disc away from food prep areas not from stored food product. According to the manufacturer, there is almost no hazard from inhalation.
