    How long after we treat the mole area with the smoke bomb/gasser, can we begin a vegetable garden?
    Moles are burrowing where we will soon be planting a vegetable garden.
    A
    Giant Destroyer does not leave a residual at all and is not a product that is taken up by the plants root systems whatsoever. Once a cartridge is done burning and has killed the mole, the smoke dissipates and is no longer present.

    If you set off in the burrow hole of the vole it will kill anything in the burrow.

    I have a dog living under my house. how do i flush it out?
    Animal control wont go under the house and there's a possibility that there might be puppies. I'm renting the place in 2 weeks. What can i do?
    A
    Trapping the dog with a live catch trap may be your best solution. You should check with animal control or your local vet, most of them have dog sized Havahart or live catch traps. The trap can be disguised with a sheet or tarp and baited with a smelly food such as tuna fish or canned dog food. It may take several days, but trapping is usually very effective, especially for a hungry mother dog. Be sure to place the trap near where you suspect the dog is entering and exiting from under the house. We would NOT recommend using any type of gassers under the house or for dogs at all. After the animal has been trapped (it important to check the traps daily and also put water in the trap), animal control can be contacted for pick up.

    I have a barn with concrete floors. There are many rat burrows going under the foundation.
    Can the Giant Destroyer be used under this foundation. Can the Giant Destroyer contaminate animal feed?

    Giant Destroyer should not be used beneath the floor of any man made structure. You should instead use a rodent bait such as Contrac Blox that can be contained in a tamper resistant rodent station like the Protecta Sidekick Rat Bait Station to get rid of the rodents under your barn.

    What can i use to get rid of moles and gophers?
    A

    Using the Giant Destroyer Smoke Bombs in the burrows and tunnels is a common way to kill Moles and Gophers. These gassers are designed to be used in a hole/tunnel in the ground where it can be covered and let the gas it releases build up to suffocate the animals to death.

    Is Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gasser a temporary fix
    i have researched that it is a temporary fix to mole pests! Such as it lasts 3-5 days. Is this true? Does the used smoke bomb get rid of them for good? Or do they come back?

    Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gasser will only treat for the moles that come in contact with it. It will not prevent the moles from re-entering the area. You want to make your lawn less attractive by treating for the grubs. Please visit our Grub control page.

    We have a possum burrow under our house. We have trapped 4 to date in wire cages. Any suggestions?
    A
    You cannot use the gassers under your house. Trapping the animals that are there now is the best way to get rid of them. It is important to follow up with an exclusion program so they cannot get back under the house later. Is there a certain place they are entering? If so you can use mesh cloth from the hardware store to block the entry. It is important to make sure all animals are out before putting up the cloth.

    Will the smoke bomb chemicals linger in the dead rodent and harm animals that eat the dead rodent?

    After using Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gasser, the risk for secondary poisoning is very minimal. Giant Destroyer kills by the rodent breathing in the gas.

    Will Giant Destroyer Smoke/Gasser Bombs kill armadillos?
    We have a burrow in our pasture with one or more armadillos in it and we have used 8 destroyers in that burrow. Do you think any of them can survive that?

    Giant Destroyer Smoke/Gasser Bombs are not labeled to have effect on Armadillos so we are unable to confirm if they will work on them. These gasser bombs are meant to be used in burrows that can be sealed off at all entrance/exit points and need to be left for 24 hours after they have burned out.

    Why not use in the winter when you know he is in his hole?
    unless you see him run into a hole you have no idea if he in there or not.

    Burrows and underground tunnels are normally very extensive. Because of this fact it is recommended on the ladel to check for burrow actively prior to use to ensure the effectiveness of the Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gasser. Performing an application during winter may or may not give you desirable results.

    If I was to use Giant Destroyer by just lighting it and putting it under my house would it do its job?

    Giant Destroyers cannot be used beneath manmade structures. Please take a few minutes to read over the Giant Destroyer product label so that you may better understand how to use the product and what precautions need to be taken when applying a cartridge.

    According to the Giant Destroyer product label:

    USE RESTRICTIONS: FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY. This product may be used only to control pocket gophers, moles, woodchucks, rats, skunks, and ground squirrels in non-crop areas (including residential lawns, parks, golf courses, re-forested areas, open fields) and in rangeland. Do not use where use of gas cartridges is prohibited by local ordinances. Do not use under buildings, homes, porches or any structure due to possible fire hazard. Only use inside of burrows and never inside of buildings. Product effectiveness may be limited in dry or porous soil which permits the escape of toxic gases from treated burrow.
