We do not recommend using any fly lights inside a dumpster since they must be used in an indoor environment and you need a power source for fly lights to work. Also, when the dumpster is emptied you would either lose your light or it would be damaged. You can use a fly bait such as the Maxforce Fly Bait outdoors around the dumpster area to help get rid of the flies outside before they become a nuisance inside. You can also use a spray bait such as Maxforce Fly Spot Bait or PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait in and around a dumpster. Please see our Fly Treatment Guide for more tips and product recommendations.
