Awesome fly light!

This fly light has been in use in our commercial kitchen for 5 years now. It uses two pcs of contact paper and 2 of the T12 bulbs which attract more flying insects than the smaller T8s. This has almost completely eradicated our fly issue. Helpful tip: to maximize the chances of the insects finding the light and getting stuck, turn off all light sources except this when you close your kitchen for the night.

Im looking for an outdoor solution. Please advise if this would work if I mounted in my outdoor patio area.
The Gilbert 225GT Sticky Fox Fly Light is intended to be used primarily indoors. We do have other traps that can be placed outdoors for capturing flying insects.

A good general rule of placement for large fly lights such as the Gilbery Sticky Fox Fly Light in food-handling facility is to place them about every 40 feet along walls. That being said, every situation is different, and there is no way to measure exactly how many lights may be appropriate for your situation without more details of the facility, pest pressure, and what other treatment measures are being used. Please see our Fly Treatment Guide for tips on how to treat this pest.
