Florida snow
By Tony on 06/29/2019
I thought we lost our lawn to Florida snow we have about an acre and it was just choking out the lawn covering more lawn area Every year. In a desperate attempt to try to save our lawn, we tried Trimec at the suggestion of a landscaper within a week you could tell it was killing off the Florida snow which is supposed to be very difficult to do. The lawn looks better the Florida snow has almost been completely killed off.

Clover gone
By Mary on 04/26/2017
This spring my field set aside for native flowers was completely covered with field clover. I used Trimec Classic and not only did it work to kill the clover, but I saw the results in 2 days - so I could quickly get to the areas I had missed.

Directions for use too complicated
By Raymond on 10/14/2020
Way too complicated to mark off an area to figure how mush product to add per quart of water to a sprayer. I called the company Trimec and their customer support said 1.5 to 2 oz per oz per quart of water. Did this and after 1 week did not see any weeds starting to die. Resprayed and added 10 to 14 oz per quart and will wait to see what happens . Probably killed the lawn but at this point I don't care. In the future I will buy a product that gives exact amounts to add per quart to a sprayer. Walking rate sprayer head and gallons per minute way too complicated for average person top figure out.

Trimec Classic
By Del on 08/16/2020
I have used Trimec Classic as the principle herbicide for control of broadleaf weeds on undeveloped land, right of ways, weeds in turf and flowerbeds. Product mixes well, easy to apply and produces great results. The percentage of 2-4D is superior to any other product on the market. Fast acting, very limited tinting of desired grasses it is a go to for me.

very effective
By Troy on 06/19/2020
I have so many different weeds in my yard, didn't bother to try and identify them. Wanted to try a reasonable priced weed killer so I selected Trimec. I sprayed half my front yard, 1/2 oz per gallon, no surfacant. Amazing results you can clearly see where I started and stopped spraying. 90% of the weeds are gone. Didn't get the clover so much but the directions say it's best to get that in the fall. Going to spray the rest this week

Impressed
By Joe on 05/18/2024
My rental house lawn had been neglected by tenants. I laid down balanced fertilizer first. Then a few weeks later mixed up Trimec with a fan tip and sprayed entire lawn. The lawn was moderately filled with weeds. Had extra and shot the neighbors front lawn, which had severe weed infestation of many types. A week later, I dropped by and felt very disappointed in results. Then after 2 more weeks, I looked again. This time I could scarcely find any weeds. Even the neighbors yard had cleaned up very well. Super impressed. Just don’t judge this until a full 3 weeks and you should be happy with results. Pretty economical as well. Surprisingly pleased overall, I’d say 97% of weeds were history.

Good post emergent herbicide for a large variety of weeds. You should add a non ionic surfactant or other sticker to this and apply using a battery powered sprayer for best results. I am using it more and more to professionally treat lawns that are infested with creeping charlie as it is more cost effective than my other favorites (speedzone and coolpower). Best application timing is spring and fall after a frost for these purposes but can also be used effectively year round. Best advice I can give you is to ditch the step 1-4, get a professional sprayer not the pump sprayer that comes with a gallon of glyphosate (roundup) and read and follow the label instructions for this and other herbicides you purchase.
