    Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) can be applied to clover crops 15 days before grazing, feeding, or harvesting (cutting) for forage or hay, if used as directed on the product label.

    What is the mix rate of Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) in a 20 gallon sprayer for treating food plots?

    The rate on Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) depends on type of crops in the food plot that will be sprayed. Please refer to full list of tolerant crops and the recommended rates beginning on page 10 of the product label.

    Will Grass Out Max be safe to use in my food?
    I planted a mix of clover, chicory and alfalfa in my food plots.

    Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) is tolerable over clover, alfalfa and chicory to kill grassy weeds when used as directed on the product label.

    Can Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) be used on clover food plots without killing the clover?
    A

    Grass Out Max would not harm clover but it is currently only labelled for use on clover when used in the states of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.  Arrest Max contains the same active ingredient but does not have any state restrictions for clover.

    I will be spraying 1 acre food plots. How many Grass Out Max oz per acre using 20 gal sprayer?
    They are currently planted in soybeans and have heavy grass invasion. How many oz per acre using 20 gal sprayer? .2 to .4 oz per 1000 sqft is too wide a range. Seems like 8 oz per acre is recommended. Correct?

    According to the product label you will want to use between 12-24 oz of Grass Out Max per acre. Please see the label for complete application instructions.

    I use 40 gallons of water to spray a food plot, how many oz per gallon of Grass Out Max should I use?
    A

    You will need to use 0.2-0.4 fl oz of Grass Out per 1,000 sq ft area. Like most other herbicides the exact amount of water you use is not important, it is just important to make sure you get the specified amount of product over a 1,000 sq ft area.
