The rate range of GrazonNext HL Herbicide for sweet clover and white clover is 1.2 to 1.5 pints (19 to 24 fluid oz) product per acre. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.
GrazonNext HL Herbicide is not directly labeled to kill fruit trees. However, an application could damage them and you would have to discard the fruit for over a year. We would recommend keeping applications outside the dripline of the trees.
Per the GrazonNext product label:
Do not use hay or straw from areas treated with GrazonNext HL within the preceding 18 months or manure from animals feeding on hay treated with GrazonNext HL in compost.
Restrictions in Hay or Manure Use:
Do not use aminopyralid-treated plant residues, including hay or straw from areas treated within the preceding 18-months, in compost, mulch or mushroom spawn. - Do not use manure from animals that have grazed forage or eaten hay harvested from treated areas within the previous 3 days, in compost, mulch or mushroom spawn.
Do not spread manure from animals that have grazed or consumed forage or hay from treated areas within the previous 3 days on land used for growing broadleaf crops.
Manure from animals that have grazed forage or eaten hay harvested from treated areas within the previous 3 days may only be used on pasture grasses, grass grown for seed, wheat and corn.
Do not plant a broadleaf crop (including soybeans, sunflower, tobacco, vegetables, field beans, peanuts, and potatoes) in fields treated in the previous year with manure from animals that have grazed forage or eaten hay harvested from aminopyralid-treated areas until an adequately sensitive field bioassay is conducted to determine that the aminopyralid residues in the soil is at level that is not injurious to the crop to be planted.
To promote herbicide decomposition, plant residues should be evenly incorporated in the surface soil or burned. Breakdown of aminopyralid in plant residues or manure is more rapid under warm, moist soil conditions and may be accelerated by supplemental irrigation.
It is common for the mixed solution to turn milky when using herbicides such as GrazonNext HL Herbicide however it should not be plugging the screen in the sprayer. GrazonNext HL has a shelf life of 2-3 years when stored in a cool dry environment and not exposed to extreme heat or freezing temperatures. Be sure you are mixing at the correct rate per the product label.
It is recommended to triple rinse your sprayer after each use with plain water to prevent any corrosion, buildup or settlements in the equipment. If you've had your sprayer for some time, it could be a new screen is needed from buildup of other pesticides.

GrazonNext HL Herbicide is applied at 19-24 fl oz per acre (43,560 sq ft) for horsenettle. Depending on how much area the 300 gallons of water covers and how much area you need to treat, that will depend on the water volume.
The minimum amount of water recommended on the product label for Ground Broadcast applications is 10 gallons of water per acre however higher spray volumes (greater than 10 gallons per acre) generally provides better coverage and better control, particularly in dense and/or tall foliage.

GrazonNext HL Herbicide does not include sandbur as a target weed on the product label. However, you may consider Pastora Herbicide WP as an alternative option, which does target sandbur, and can be applied to established Bermudagrass pastures and hay meadows used for grazing, if used as directed on the product label.
GrazonNext HL Herbicide is safe for applications to wheat grown for hay however is not labeled for millet or rye.

We do not carry Paraquat which is an active ingredient found in Gramoxone SL 2.0 Herbicide. This is a RUP (Restricted Use Product) that we do not have access to and it is not comparable to GrazonNext HL Herbicide.
GrazonNext HL Herbicide is used at rates of 1.2 - 2.1 pints per acre (19 - 34 oz per acre) with sufficient water to cover that area. You would need to know first how much area your tank covers, and then check Table 3 on the product label for the specific rate for the weeds you are targeting.
According to the product label, it is advised that you wait until the next growing season to plant in or seed an area after treating with GrazonNext HL Herbicide. It will inhibit the growth of grass seeds.
GrazonNext HL Herbicide should not be applied to seeded areas until the new grass has established. We recommend waiting until you have mowed the new grass at least three times or wait after 60 days, whichever is longer, before making an application.
