Green Lawnger Turf Paint is used to restore the natural green color to dormant turf and will not be effective in coloring dirt. We are not aware of a product that can be used to color dirt. You could use sand over the bare areas and then spray the Green Lawnger as it is labeled for divot sand on golf courses and might work for situation.
We would recommend keeping animals out of the area until Green Lawnger Turf Paint has had time to dry completely. Be sure to read the label thoroughly for further instructions on using this product around pets.
We do not recommend using Green Lawnger on synthetic turf since it is really designed to be used on natural dormant turf. You may consider contacting the manufacturer of the type of synthetic turf you have for their recommendations for appropriate paint/colorant to use on that kind of product.
