    Q
    Greenhouse algae
This product was recommended for cleaning algae in a greenhouse. I have a small greenhouse, 10x10. Algae on the floor due to standing water. How much would I use and how would I apply?
    A
GreenClean Pro Algaecide is applied as a granule, liquid, or foam. If you want to apply as a granule the rate is 1 lb per 1000 sq ft area. You will just sprinkle the area that is wet, if not wet make sure to water in after the application. If you want to make a liquid application, the rate is 0.5 lb to a gallon of water and let it dissolve for at least 5 minutes and then spray on the desired surface. This gallon will cover 1000 sq ft. For a foam application, the rate is the same for the liquid but you will add an alkaline-based foam, the manufacturer suggests BioSafe Systems Bio-Foamer, at a rate of 2-5 oz per gallon then spray on the desired area.

    Q
What is the application rate for GreenClean Pro Algaecide to treat a 3 acre pond , ranging from 1ft to 15ft deep for filamentous algae and mill foil weed? Does temperature and pH play a roll in the application?
    A

GreenClean Pro Algaecide works best when applied when temps are between 65-75 degrees. The rate of GreenClean Pro Algaecide is 20-100 lbs per acre foot of water for heavy algae growth. For low/moderate growth, the rate is 2-10 lbs per acre foot of water. Be sure not to treat your entire pond at once so that the oxygen in the water is not depleted.

Here is an example of how to measure it bellow
    1 acre-foot of water = • water measuring 208.7 ft. long x 208.7 ft. wide x 1 ft. deep • 43,560 cubic feet • 325,851 gallons • 2,780,000 pounds.
