Recommended by a University of Florida greenhouse manager

Was taking a course in Small Farms Academy at UF. Greenhouse manager recommended this product because of its ease of use for disinfecting seedling trays and transplant pots quickly. They just jet clean the trays, then spray with this and leave wet. Can plant right away and do not have to wait till dry. So much easier than using clorox, and effective.

Green-Shield II Disinfectant and Algicide does not state it is safe for use on plants so it could harm them. It would be recommended to avoid spraying plants directly or allowing drift to contact plants.

Per the manufacturer, Green-Shield II Disinfectant and Algicide is a harsh cleaning agent that is not to be used on any vegetation. Rather, it should be used on greenhouse floors, etc., so if used properly, it should not harm bees.
