The trap looks the same inside but the mice escaping. They are leaving behind droppings and eating my bait. Help!
There is a lever that is triggered in the Victor Tin Cat Mouse Trap when mice enter. Once they enter, they should not be able to get back out. Are you able to see if possibly the lever is damaged in any way causing them access to be able to escape?
Many customers want the repeating catch capability of the Tin Cat but don't want to deal with live mice. In this case, we suggest that you also buy Tin Cat Glue Boards, which fit perfectly inside the Tin Cat. The mice will stick to the glue board and eventually die. The glue boards provide for easier disposal of the mice.
