    Do you rinse off the dog after you put Happy Jack Kennel Dip II on?

    If you are applying Happy Jack Kennel Dip II as a dip or with a sponge, once the product is diluted and applied thoroughly to your pet, they will drip dry. It is not recommended that you rinse your pet.

    How long should I wait before bathing my dog after using Happy Jack Kennel Dip II?

    Be sure to bathe your pet before dipping with Happy Jack Kennel Dip II. Then you want to bathe once a month. You can bathe up to once a week, but over-bathing could dry the pet's skin.

    What will happen if dog licks itself before Happy Jack Kennel Dip II is dry?
    A

    Happy Jack Kennel Dip II can be harmful if enough is ingested by your dog.  A small lick would be fine but we would recommend keeping him from doing so until dry.

    Is the Happy Jack Kennel Dip II safe to use on cats?
    I have dog and cats. Can I use it on both? If not what do you recommend for cats? I read somewhere that cats are more sensitive to permethin. Thanks.

    According to the manufacturer, you cannot use the Happy Jack Kennel Dip II on cats. Ingredients in the product are too strong to be used on cats.

    Is it ok to do a Pet Makeover after we've applied Happy Jack Kennel Dip II and he's completely dry?
    Do I have to wait until he's dry and want about him run around the house wet will it contaminate my home.

    Happy Jack Kennel Dip II will not contaminate the home as it can also be used as in Indoor Premise Spray to treat infested areas, pet beds, resting quarters, nearby cracks and crevices, along baseboards, moldings, windows, door frames and localized areas of floor and floor coverings. The residual of Happy Jack Kennel Dip II is 30 days,  but it can be reapplied after 14 days as needed. Depending on what you are treating, we would recommend waiting until the situation has been resolved before any type of "makeover" as you do not want to remove any of the product or cause skin irritations to the dog. We always recommend contacting your Vet for advice concerning your pet's health.

    We recommend mixing Happy Jack Kennel Dip II with water only when you are ready to use the product. You should not store longer than 24 hours after dilution for the most effective results.

    Should a weaker solution of Happy Jack Kennel Dip II be used for younger or smaller pups?
    Should I use a weaker solution on younger pups? Or for lower weights?
    A

    You should only use Happy Jack Kennel Dip on puppies that are at least 12 weeks of age. We recommend following the dilution rates on the product label for best results. For Spray, Dip or Sponge on: Mix 1 part concentrate in 256 parts water (1 fl oz in 2 gal or 30 mL in 2 gal or 8 fl oz in 16 gal.) Spray, Dip, or pour diluted product on the dog until the dog's hair and skin are thoroughly wet (saturated), making sure the dog's entire body is treated. Do not treat dog's face. Let drip dry on dog and do not rinse off. Low Volume Spray: Mix 1 part concentrate in 32 parts water (1 fl oz or 30 mL in 1 quart). Spray 1-2 fl oz per dog. Starting at the tail, stroke against lay of the hair, spraying the parted hair with a fine mist directly behind the hand to insure penetrating the hair coat. Spray entire dog until the hair coat is damp.

    Should I keep my 6week pup away from older 2 dogs after dipping with Happy Jack Kennel Dip II?
    3 Dotson's but 1 is just a puppy of 6 weeks. Need to know if it's safe to dip older 2 dogs with puppy having contact or do I completely separate them.... Please help

    As long as you are not using Happy Jack Kennel Dip II on the puppy directly it will be fine to keep the other dogs away until their fur is dry after dipping.

    I have an 8 week old Beagle mix weighs around 4.4 lbs.

    Happy Jack Kennel Dip II cannot be used on puppies under 12 weeks old, you will have to wait until that age to use.  Be sure to bathe your pet before dipping with Happy Jack Kennel Dip II.  Then you want to bathe once a month and reapply after.
