    Q
What would be the proper setting on the Scott's Edgeguard Spreader when applying Headway G Fungicide Granules as a preventative for Pythium Blight?
    A

Per the product label for treating pythium blight, Headway G Fungicide Granules should be applied preventatively at 2 to 2.5lbs per 1000 sq ft at 14 day intervals or 3.5 to 4lbs per 1000 sq ft at 28 day intervals.

Unfortunately we do not have the spreader settings for that specific combo and the manufacturer does not list that spreader on their bag. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. Please take a moment to review our How to Calibrate Your Spreader Video for a tutorial on how to calibrate your equipment.

    Q
Is there a recommended granular fungicide to rotate dollar spot treatments?
Daconil is listed in the label however, I prefer to stray away from spray applications. Is there another granular fungicide with a different mode of action that would be recommended? This is for a residential lawn with human/pet activity.
    A

You can rotate Headway G Fungicide Granules with 3336 DG Lite Granular Fungicide, it is a group 1 fungicide and it's labeled for dollar spot.

    Q
How much Headway G Fungicide Granules do I use per 1000 sq ft on my turfgrass?
    A

The Headway G Fungicide Granules Product Label has two large charts that goes over a range of application rates based on what disease you are treating for. You would need to reference the product label to make sure you are following the instructions it gives for the specific disease you have in the lawn. The range on the label is from 2 - 5.4 lbs per 1000 sq/ft based on the fungus that is present.
