Heritage easy and safe to use
By Claudette on 05/29/2013
Heritage instructions go into great detail regarding all the safety measures to take regarding clothing, gloves, and stress the toxicity of the product. The 4 oz. bottle contains granules with an easy to dispense lid. I used a dedicated measuring spoon and my one gallon spray container. With the ability to direct the spray wand just where I needed, there was no problem with spray drift. I chose the granules to mix with water over the bag product that would require a spreader, and I am most happy with my choice. This small bottle is easy to store with left over material.

Stopping large patch
By Anonymous on 07/12/2013
I am blessed with a lawn that receives significant run-off from an adjacent golf course. Slow drainage on centipede turf equals raging large patch here in the coastal south. Using the Heritage fungicide in an alternating pattern with a second chemcial class has basically eliminated the problem. Application rate has been 0.3 oz per 1000 square feet of lawn surface area. Key was to start early in the season, in other words, begin applications before the disease actually becomes active. I am using 21 day intervals, which seems to be enough by starting applications in late June.

I will be applying this with a backpack sprayer and won't need anywhere near 100 gallons. How can I mix this, looks like I will need to add 0.12 oz to make three gallons! Ideas? Also, do I need to mix it by weight or volume?

With most products like the Heritage DF 50, you will want to not mow your yard 2 days prior to application or 2 days after application to ensure it is fully absorbed into the yard and to see the full results.

My fertilize plan is scheduled for April, June, and August. I have fungus in my St. Augustine lawn, can I apply my fertilize , 34-0-0 , the same day as I apply this fungus ? If not , how many days before and after?
There is no reason why you cannot fertilize and apply Heritage DF 50 Fungicide in the same day. When the products are applied per label. Be sure to make your application in the cooler times of the day.

I am looking for a cover all mixture amout, if the product is being used as a monthly preventative type of application, for St. Augustine Grass.
When applying Heritage DF 50 Fungicide as a general broadcast application we recommend mixing 0.2 oz per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft
