    What time of year can Heritage SC be put down as a preventative?
    Live in the Myrtle Beach area. How many days of sun is needed before putting on the sprinklers to get the most absorption of the product

    Timing for preventative applications of Heritage SC Fungicide is going to depend on the disease you are targeting. Refer to the product label or contact your local County Extension Office for exact timing recommendations in your region. 

    To avoid runoff, it is recommended to delay irrigation for 48 hrs and apply when rainfall is not expected for 24-48 hrs.

    The 4 oz bottle of Heritage SC Fungicide will cover 5,000 - 10,000 sq ft, depending on the rate at which you apply it. So at 0.4 oz per 1000 sq ft, you can cover 10,000 sq ft. At the higher rate of 0.8 oz per 1000 sq ft, you can cover 5,000 sq ft. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    How much does 4oz treat and what is the mix ration for 25 gallon sprayer
    A
    When using Heritage SC Fungicide at a rate of 0.4 oz per 1,000 square feet, it can treat up to 10,000 square feet. At the rate of 0.8 oz per 1,000 square feet, Heritage SC can treat up to 5,000 square feet. Water is just the carrier so the area it will treat with your 25 gallon tank, depends on the size area you can treat with that much water. We recommend to calibrate your sprayer to help determine the mix rate that will fit your needs.

    Per the label,  you can apply Heritage SC to prevent and control diseases on turf and ornamentals grown on golf courses, lawns and landscaped areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields. Please read the label for full application instructions.

    Does Heritage SC Fungicide need to be watered in after the application?

    Heritage SC Fungicide does not require addtional watering after the application as you should be using sufficient water volume with the application to evenly distribute adn cover the treatment area. 

    Please view the product label for application rates based on the disease you are targeting and more information.

    Do I need to water in this product after I spray it on my lawn?

    You do not have to water Heritage SC Fungicide - 4 oz. on most occasions but that is dependent on what you are treating for. For instance, for Spring Dead Spot, it is recommended to water in.

    Heritage SC Fungicide does not require addtional watering in following the application for turfgrass disease unless treating for Spring Dead Spot.

    It is recommended per the product label to use the advised rate for the lawn disease being targeted in 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft and 1 to 2 gallons of water per spot treatment applications.

    Does Heritage SC Fungicide need to be watered in after applying for red thread in my lawn?
    I ordered this product for red thread on my lawn. I read the label and found the mixing instructions at .4-.8 per gallon. Do I wait 24hrs to water the product in?

    Heritage SC Fungicide does not need to be watered in following the application as long as you are mixing the 0.4 to 0.8 fl oz in the recommended 2-4 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft. For spot treatments, use 0.4 fl oz per 1-2 gallons of water. Avoid applying when rainfall or irrigation is expected within 48 hours. 

    For Red Thread, Heritage SC can be applied 3 times at 14-28 intervals when conditions are favorable for disease development.

    Would Heritage SC Fungicide work for pythium I have on my seeding?
    It's a renovation and about 3 weeks post germination.

    You can apply Heritage SC Fungicide - 4 oz. up to twice in a row for prevention of pythium diseases in your new turfgrass, per the product label. If you already see damage, then the preferred treatment is Quali-Pro Mefenoxam.

    Can Heritage SC Fungicide be used on Centipede and how many ounces would I use in 20 gallons of water?

    Heritage SC Fungicide is labeled for preventative and curative control of lawn diseases and can be used on Centipede lawns. For optimum disease control, apply Heritage SC preventatively. Begin applications when conditions are favorable for disease infection prior to the appearance of disease symptoms. 

    Please view the Table 1. Chart for Listed Turf Diseases and Rates on page 4 of the product label for the specific lawn disease you are targeting. Typically you are using 2 – 4 gallons of mixed solution per 1000 sq ft to distribute the application adequately.
