    Q
Can I use Hi-Yield Iron Sulfate on a 30 year old pin oak in our yard? How would I use it?
Could it be directly spread around the trees base & grass around it? The trunk is approx. 18"diameter. Also very close to an asphalt driveway. We'd like to get it green again so it looks better & can maybe turn red in the fall again.
    A

Hi-Yield Iron Sulfate can be used on trees, shrubs, and lawns to help prevent that yellow and faded-out look caused by an Iron deficiency

Trees: Use 1/2 lb. for each 1 inch of trunk diameter - Spread out under branches and water in after application.

Lawns: Apply 4 lbs. per 1,000 square feet, using any hand or power-operated gravity or rotary type spreader - Water in after application.

Shrubs: Use 1 lb. for each 2 feet of height - Mix into the soil and water in after application.

NOTE: Applications should not be made when temperatures are above 85 degrees F as burning may occur. Do not apply to drought stressed lawns and plants. Water the day before application is to be made during dry periods.

CAUTION: This product may stain driveways, walks, patios, etc. Sweep off thoroughly, immediately after contact.

    Q
Moss in lawn, can I use Hi - Yield Iron Sulfate?
I have a lot of moss from a rainy summer last year. Will this help control/kill the moss? My PH levels are 6.5, will this change that number drastically? And how long after application can I seed?
    A
Hi - Yield Iron Sulfate is not labeled for targeting moss, so we are not aware of it's efficacy in relation to moss treatments, it is used to help prevent and reverse yellowing due to Iron Chlorosis

Bio Advanced 2 - in - 1 Moss and Algae Killer RTS & Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide are both labeled to get rid of moss on lawns
