Be careful.

I believe the product is effective but be very careful with the application. This is a very fine powder that is difficult to spread evenly. I mistakenly applied it unevenly due to a poor manual spreader. I ended up chemically burning patches of lawn. Done properly, I can see how it would deepen the green color of the lawn, but mine turned more black.

Could it be directly spread around the trees base & grass around it? The trunk is approx. 18"diameter. Also very close to an asphalt driveway. We'd like to get it green again so it looks better & can maybe turn red in the fall again.
