I read the review by Sara, who stated that the % of active ingredient was different in the quart and gallon sizes. I was curious, so I emailed Do My Own and asked them. According to Do My Own, there is NO difference in % active ingredient in the quart and gallon sizes.

Hi Yield 2 is very effective against all the weeds here in our yard in Virginia. However, if you also have crabgrass, you can use Drive XLR8 to kill them. I ended up using 1 gallon per 1/3 acre based on dispensing from an Ortho dial sprayer

We recently moved into a home we remodeled. The yard was neglected and overrun with weeds and overgrowth. We were able to get the yard in order - all except the horsetails!! After pulling and pulling and pulling again, nothing would touch these weeds - even Round Up. Then I found this product thru a web search. It works!!

This is by far the fastest I have ever received an online order from a company! Great service! As far as the product I have used other brands but this one has been the top. I grew up in Tn and lived in Nc and used this for years to kill brush and weeds. We used it to keep the fence lines clear and to kill brush before clearing land. Always great results.

This product is amazing! It kills all weeds without killing grass. One should read the direction for proper use for safety. If you are looking for a product to control, or eliminate weeds in your grass, this is your product.

I used the 2, 4-D in a pump sprayer to allow me to be more precise in getting the poison onto the weeds. A hose sprayer would have been less selective. It worked as advertised. I used 1 tablespoon per cup of water.

I ordered 2,4-D and had my order is like two days. However when I opened it, it was a bug control product. I called customer service and mailed me another gallon in the next two days. I received a return postage for the incorrect product - so just wanted to say the customer service was outstanding. The product works good, it doesn't harm the grass. I have applied twice to the area. The weather has been cooler than normal and I am wondering if it was warmer, if the results would have been faster.

As a retired horticulturist its best to use this product with the temperature at least 70 degrees.. and always follow the label,, I have been using 2,4 -D for over 40 years and it works,,

Bought this product to kill off dandelions in the yard. Does the job but you can't stop with one application. I used the Ortho Dial applicator, after some math??? and a little guess work, I settled on the 1 oz. setting per gallon. Spot application with a pump sprayer as needed after that.

Purchased 2,4-D to kill " COW " grass or also known as DALLAS grass. . In the past I just would dig those clumps up. However this year the Cow Grass overwhelmed me and decided the 2, 4-D approach. After several application the Weed Killer has done the trick. Even tough it did affect some of the surrounding Zoya grass it is the right way for me to control this WEED. The Zoya grass has since also started to grow back. Good reddens COW or DALLas grass.

Definitely killed the weeds. Easy to mix and apply. I ordered the smaller size and I have a lot of weeds so I will need to get more. Delivery was quick.

My garden is full of horsetail. I've tried everything I could to get rid of it. I've pulled it, dug it up, covered it with newspaper and mulch, cardboard, plastic garbage bags, and clipped it off at the ground level. Nothing worked. It kept spreading. I try to keep my garden area basically organic. Well, that didn't work out. The horsetail kept coming back and came back worse. I spent all summer fighting it and finally gave up and then my garden turned into a gigantic horsetail weed bed. I searched and searched for a product that would kill horsetail without harming my garden so I can plant in the spring. I bought this and sprayed it on. Hopefully the horsetail will be DEAD and gone There are very few products out there that will kill horsetail and I think this one will do the job. I'll know for sure in a couple more weeks and give an update.

Works well for my intended purchase. However, you may need several treatments to completely kill these weeds. I would purchase again. DoMyOwn was excellent to work with and shipping was as expected.

This product seems to get rid of most of the basic weed groups. There are a few weeds in my yard that require a specialized product. Nut grass, etc., but this product works well. Also, DoMyOwnPestControl has great prices and fantastic shipping. Will be purchasing from them again as needed.

The plantains and clover look to be somewhat injured. It appears I might have to make a second application. The smell of this chemical is very strong. It did not kill my fescue which is good.

I'm in Georgia and I've got Bermuda grass. My yard is generally a very nice-looking yard but it's been overtaken by bluegrass (poa annua) and a few other weed varieties. I put pre-emergent down but way too late, apparently. I tried Image because it worked very well last year - not so much this year. Bayer worked well against other broadleaf weeds but didn't hurt the bluegrass. I applied Hi-Yield on yesterday afternoon and I can already see it working it's magic on the bluegrass and the other weeds. It's early yet but I fully expect this to knock 'em out completely. I'll give it a 5-star rating then.

This is like the bread and butter of herbicides. Just like every homeowner needs RoundUP, this is the second most important product any homeowner (with a lawn) should not be without. Realistically speaking, this stuff is anywhere from alright to absolutely amazing depending upon the weed and the weather. ALWAYS follow the label. This year when it got hot (to the upper limits of the label) it merely worked faster frying the weeds faster than even RoundUp would have. The net result was that it just fried the weeds sprayed even faster. The best thing is that it does NOT harm centipede grass at proper mix rates. I tried it on a test plot of St. Augustine and would NOT recommend this on that though. ALWAYS try any new product in an inconspicuous area. I was going to give it a five except a shrub at least 8' away from any areas sprayed shows herbicide damage of auxin herbicide injury (leaves curling). That said it is recovering nicely.

I use a Ortho hose end sprayer to apply a majority of herbicides and insecticides, It wouldn't hurt to put the ounces per gallon on the label.

Didnt kill as many of the weeds as expected. Had to saturate them in order for them to wilt but poor results. Will try something else next

The buyer of the gallon size should be aware that the percentage of 2, 4-D is much less than in the quart size.

Need a killer for Tn / VA Buttonweed. It yellowed out the plants but did not kill it, only stunted it for a few weeks.

Didn't live up to my expectations of killing hard to kill lawn weeds. Gonna take another or maybe even two more sprays to finish the job. I believe the Speedzone worked better, went with this brand because it was a larger container.

It doesnt work on my first try with 2 Oz to a gallon. On my second try with 10 Oz to a gallon it kill some but not all. There are brown patch with grass and crab grass kill but some other brown patch only kill the bermuda grass not the crab grass.
