    Q
What is the setting for a Ortho Dial N Spray Hose Sprayer when spraying Hi-Yield 2,4-D Amine No. 4 Selective Weed Killer?
    A

Hose end sprayers are typically not recommended for applying Hi-Yield 2,4-D Amine No. 4 Selective Weed Killer as it is difficult to control or determine how much water is dispersed. Since the settings on the Ortho Dial N Hose Sprayer range from 1 tsp to 8 fl oz per gallon of water, you will need to determine how much water the sprayer dispenses to cover 1000 sq ft.

Hi-Yield 2,4-D Amine No. 4 Selective Weed Killer is advised to be applied using a hand pump or backpack sprayer at the rates of 0.75 to 1.16 fl. oz. of product (0.022-0.034 lb ae) per 1,000 sq. ft. per application.
