Hi-Yield Bone & Blood Meal 6 - 7 - 0 is specially formulated to provide nutrients to plants. Contains a mixture of Phosphate and natural Nitrogen, providing the right amount of nutrients needed by plants. This product features long-lasting effect because it slowly releases the nutrients to plants over some time. It is ideal to use on vegetables, shrubs, and flowers such as roses, mums, azaleas, tulip, crocus, geraniums, daffodil, and pansies. Safe to use and gentle to plants, making it perfect for gardening purposes. Proven to treat up to 75 square feet of bed area. This product is available in a 3-lb. pack.
When planting, use ½ cup HI-YIELD BONE & BLOOD MEAL per plant and mix thoroughly with soil around roots. Water thoroughly after planting. For established plants, use ½ cup per plant in early spring, just before buds sprout. Apply ¼ cup after blooms have passed and again in mid-summer. Carefully work into surface soil and water thoroughly.
PANSIES, BULBS – GLADIOLUS, TULIP, CROCUS, DAFFODIL, ETC.
When planting bulbs in beds, use 4 lbs. of HI-YIELD BONE & BLOOD MEAL per 100 sq. ft. of bed area. Mix thoroughly with soil in the bottom of bed before planting.
For individual plants, place 2 tablespoons in the bottom of the planting hole and mix thoroughly with soil. Always water thoroughly after planting.
For established bulbs, feed once in early spring and again after blooming is completed. Apply 4 lbs. per 50 square feet of bed area and carefully work into surface soil. Water in thoroughly.
Use 8 lbs. of HI-YIELD BONE & BLOOD MEAL per 50 ft. of row area or 50 square feet of bed area. Mix with loose soil in the bottom of trench or bed at the time of planting. Water thoroughly after planting. Can also be applied as a side-dressing at 8 lbs. per 50 ft. of row. Work into surface soil and water thoroughly.
Individual bulbs: 2 tablespoons in the bottom of planting hole mixed with soil.
Flowers & vegetables: 6 lbs. per 50 sq. ft. or row.
