Thank you!
Yes, Hi-Yield Bug Blaster II can be used directly on ornamental shrubs for scale. You will use 0.5 fl. oz. per gallon of water. This can be done every 21-30 days.
And is spraying the bush the best way to keep the bagworms away? Or pouring solution into soil to be absorbed by the bush?
Hi-Yield Bug Blaster II - 7.9% Bifenthrin it would be a great product to use for bagworms before an infestation occurs. Yuu would use 0.125 oz./1,000 sq ft (per gallon) per the product label. It should be applied before they hatch and monthly through their active months. It will not keep them away but will help to kill any that contact a treated surface before they form the bag. It is also not a systemic so would not be beneficial to apply to the soil. We have a great article here on "Bagworm Control".
