A very high quality insecticide; it can be applied directly on the animals, yet kills usually in minutes. I sometimes use it on fire ants, and it is very effective.

Seemed to kill fleas on pets - also used on an outside rug to get the fleas - worked fine. I like the fact that this can be used on other pests, and, as it's a powder, has residual effects.

Thank you for your review/question. While this product is labeled to be used on cats, please be very cautious due to cats being sensitive to Permethrin, which is the active ingredient. If used correctly by using the rates shown per pound of the animal and then rubbing it in with a rubber glove to get down to their skin you do not have to wait any period of time to touch them, after the application is complete.

It's a dust though, so what do you expect. I was using it for fleas, but had much better results with pyrethrin sprays. My wife bought this without asking me first...And she got what she paid for...

Has so many uses. I purchased several bags because I needed some for chickens to dust themselves, dust my tomato plants, and throw on ant piles. Not to mention dust my dogs every now and then.
