    Q

I want to spray the Granules outside the house we have ants and all types of insects but my question is what do I mix with? is it with water and how much for 2lbs?
    A
Hi-Yield Imported Fire Ant Control Granules is a broad spectrum residual insecticide for the control of listed pests in residential lawns. Apply Hi-Yield Imported Fire Ant Control Granules with a fertilizer spreader or similar equipment so that the granules are applied as uniformly as possible to the lawn. Treat with Hi-Yield Imported Fire Ant Control Granules monthly according to label directions when pests first appear (May-June) and continue to apply until the season is over (September-October).

    Mound Application Rates:

    • Two tablespoons over each 8" to 10" diameter mound and up to 2 feet around to prevent escape of the queen.
    • Immediately after application, water the granules into the soil gently with a light sprinkling can to avoid disturbing the colony.
    • Use at least one gallon of water per mound.
    • Apply in cool weather during the spring and fall (65-80°F) or in early morning or late evening for best results.

    Q
Can I put Hi-Yield Imported Fire Ant Control Granules in my vegetable garden?
    Have massive ants
    A

Hi-Yield Imported Fire Ant Control Granules is for use in lawns only and would not be able to be used in a vegetable garden.  Instead you could use the Monterey Vegetable Garden Soil Insecticide which is labeled for use in vegetable gardens. You could also use Ferti-Lome Come and Get It! Fire Ant Killer around most edible plants. Just keep in mind that you may need a high volume of bait.
