Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Triclopyr + D is a non-selective, post-emergence herbicide designed to control most kinds of brush and unwanted trees, perennial and annual broadleaf weeds on range and pastureland. This product will control weeds on permanent grass pastures, rangeland, conservation reserve program acres, fence rows, roadsides, non-irrigation ditch banks, industrial sites and non-crop areas. There are no restrictions on grazing after application of this product except for lactating dairy animals. For lactating dairy animals that graze, do not allow them to graze the areas that have been treated until the next growing season after application. Do not harvest hay until 14 days after application. The areas that are grazed in non-crop areas and forestry sites can be spot treated if they are 10% or less of the grazing area. For slaughter, remove livestock from these grazing treated areas at least 3 days before slaughter.

My neighbor will not remove or trim a Large Ficus Tree. It drops nuts and leaves my yard messy and needs a lot of clean up.
In order to kill a tree that size, you would get the best results cutting the tree down to a stump and treating the fresh cut stump directly. If the trunk diameter is less than 6-8 inches, then you could potentially do a basal bark treatment with the Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Triclopyr + D. You would mix approximately 5 ounces per gallon of solution, mixing in diesel No. 1 or 2 or kerosene, then spraying the basal part of the tree up to a height of 15-20 inches off the ground. If you do not need this much product, then could also use Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer.

I thought "non-selective" means it will kill everything it comes into contact with, including your lovely grass. How does it control weeds in pasture if it will kill the pasture itself?
Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Triclopyr + D is not non-selective. It will only control woody plants and annual and perennial broadleaf weeds that are growing in a pasture. This product will not harm any permanent pasture or range grasses.

I have rangeland that is bordered on 2 sides by highly maintained turf (fescue bluegrass blend.
Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Triclopyr + D is labeled safe for fescue and bluegrass and residential turf, so should not harm the turf when used as directed on the product label.
I have wild rose and burdock growing in my orchard next to the fruit trees. Will this application damage the fruit trees. If so, what other product would you recommend?
You do need to be careful of potential contact or drift to nearby desirably plants, such as fruit trees, when using Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Triclopyr + D. Per the product label:
Do not apply under circumstances where spray drift may occur to food, forage, or other plantings that might be damaged or crops thereof rendered unfit for sale, use or consumption. Susceptible crops include, but are not limited to cotton, okra, flowers, grapes (in growing stage), *fruit trees (foliage)*, soybeans (vegetative stage), ornamentals, sunflowers, tomatoes, beans, and other vegetables, or tobacco. Small amounts of spray drift that might not be visible may injure susceptible broadleaf plants
