    Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 is only applied 2 times a year waiting 30 days between applications per the product label

    Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 is labeled for more warm season grasses. You can use Fertilome Weed out Plus. Always make sure to review the product label before application.

    Can I use Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 in my garden and if so can I still plant seeds?

    Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 should only be applied to the following established turfgrasses: Bahia, Bermuda,  Bentgrass, Bluegrass, Centipede, Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, and Zoysia

    How long should I wait after applying Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 to cut my grass?
    A

    Once Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 has been applied to the law, it would be best to wait 2-3 days before cutting it.  You should mow lawn to normal height 1 to 2 days before application.

    Applied to my yard 12 days ago and still having issues with the clover

    Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 is labeled to kill clover.  Possible retreatment may be necessary if (a) lawn is heavily overrun by weeds, or, (b) if adverse low moisture conditions prevail and weeds are in a state of poor growth.  A second application may be made in 30 days

    We did a reseed of our lawn app 7 weeks ago and the new grass has come in nicely but, here come the weeds.
    Is it too soon to use Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10? App 7 weeks after a reseed?

    You will need to wait until the grass has established/well rooted, at least 30 days or after 2-3 mowings to apply Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10.

    Is Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 pet safe?
    A

    With any product you use you will want to follow the Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 product label instructions to ensure any risks associated with it are reduced. You should keep pets, children, and anyone not applying the products out of the treatment area while making the application, and until all surfaces have had time to dry or settle. This is on average 2-4 hours after application before resuming normal activity.

    Can I apply High Yield 15-0-10 on my Centipede lawn in August here in North Carolina? Temps are in the 90s
    I've read not to apply above 85 degrees, so I if apply in early AM but temperature then exceeds 85 later in the day, will this have an adverse effect?

    Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 should be applied earlier in the day or later in the evening when temperatures are 45-85 degrees.  You just do not want to apply when temperatures are above 85

    Can Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 be used after a light rain?
    A

    Per the product label for Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 should not be applied when rain is expected within 24 hours after application. 

     Water lawn thoroughly at least 1 day before application to sustain moisture until the next watering

    Apply when weeds are young and actively growing, preferably in the morning when dew is on the grass.  If grass is not moist at time of application, sprinkle lightly with water to allow the granules to adhere and to remain on the leaf surface of the weeds.

    Do not wash from weed leaves for 1 to 2 days after application. At this time, a thorough watering should be made.

    Pre emergent for hairy bittercress can I use Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10?
    Can your product be applied in the fall in the northeast to control hairy bittercress from sprouting in March?
    A

    Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 contains a post emergent herbicide only and does not prevent any weeds from germinating.  Dimension 2EW is labeled to prevent bittercress and would be a better option

    How long after putting out granular HY W&F can I spray HY Atrazine to kill poa? How long after putting out granular HY W&F can I plant new Centipede sod in dead spots? Also, when I can spray Fertilome’s Weed Out Nutsedge Control after the HY W&F?

    After apply Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 it is best to wait about 60 days before overseeding/resodding.  If seeding is done prior to an application, then you must wait until seedlings have good root growth, about two months or once you have mowed it twice.  After you apply Hi-Yield weed and feed 15-0-10 you will need to 2-3 days between applications.

    Do not overseed turf areas within 6 months of treatment of Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer.

     Ferti-lome Weed - Out Nutsedge Control should be applied when weeds are small and actively growing. We suggest contacting your local extension office for information on exact timing in your area.

    What is the spreader setting on a John Deere tow behind spreader LP25353 to apply Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10?

    Since the manufacturer of Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 does not provide settings for your spreader equipment on the product label, you will need to calibrate your spreader accordingly.  You can view our video on how to calibrate your equipment for correct spreader settings here.

    Can I plant new plants in an area where I applied Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10/

    Hi-Yield Weed and Feed 15-0-10 should only be applied to the following established turfgrass species only: St. Augustinegrass, Centipedegrass, Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Zoysiagrass, Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Fescue, and Bentgrass. It contains broadleaf herbicides that could damage or kill desirable ornamentals like flowers, shrubs, and trees. Be sure to avoid using this product around desirable ornamental plants.
