How can Daconil be rainfast within 4 hours yet can not be applied if rain is expected within 24 hours?

I find these two statements to be contradictory. If it's rainfast within 4 hours, why does it matter if it rains after four hours?

Answer:

As with any product applied outside, environmental factors can play a role in how soon an application is rainfast.  It all depends on how soon the area treated dries really.  If there is a lot of sunlight to the area and not a lot of humidity this could be within 4 hours.  No rain within 24 hours is recommended just to be safe after an application of Garden Tech Daconil Fungicide Concentrate.
