The gilmore can be changed from teaspoons per gal. or tablespoons per gallon. As a general rule, what should I set the gilmore to? Is your product effective against grasshoppers? and lastly, Is the product effectively balanced ratio wise for flower baring plants?
The setting you use is going to vary for where you are treating. According to the label: How much to use: Trees: 1 oz for every inch of distance around trunk; treats 4 trees that measure 8 inches around trunk Shrubs: 3 oz for every foot of height; treats 5 shrubs that are 2 foot tall Containerized Plants: 1 2/3 tablespoons for each five gallon container; treats up to 42 - five gallon containers Please see the Bayer Advance Product Label for complete instructions for your needs. As long as you have your setting adjusted for the right insect on the right plant, the balance of the ingredients even on flower bareing plants will be correct. This product is not effective against grasshoppers according to the label, however we do carry Talstar which is a great safe yet powerful insecticide to control grasshoppers as well as a large variety of other insects.
